Hi there
Brian Lara of the West Indies has made 400+ runs against England. This is the highest score in test cricket. It's also the first time a test cricketer has made 400 runs. Just a note when he scored the 1 run to take him to 400 the score was 747-5

Yeeeeessss. But apart from Flintoff and Geraint Jones who are in at the moment, the remaining batsmen consists of Batty, Simon Jones, Harmison and Hoggard (who's ill). Not really anything to scare the opposition.
Unless G Jones and Flintoff have a big stand, expect England to be rolled over for about 250. They'll probably bat better in the second innings, but whether that will be enough to stave off defeat seems doubtful, even though it's still a very good wicket.
All in all, a poor batting display from England, though not totally unexpected as teams often collapse when faced with a huge total.
Still, it's a dead rubber. England losing doesn't matter, as they've already won the series.
Awesome innings from Lara though.
She's as nervous as a very small nun at a penguin shoot.

I feel Lara never put enough effort and interest in his batting because in terms of ability no one compares to him after Viv Richards. This guy could have been 10 times more successful had he put the same dedicaton as Sachin...Sachin is nothing compared to Lara....hes just a master of mediocre attacks on dead pitches---he never wins his team anything...Lara does!

ok ok ok....
so I dunno much about cricket haha...
I really don't follow it that much, but I'm a West Indian Patriot and love to get caught up in all the hype so Lara's 400 runs was worth the look.
and to slip in a bit of aviation here, it's times like these that make BWIA's callsign "West Indian" even more significant
