Nothing beats a Philly steak & cheese sandwich! Unfortunately it is not very common here in Germany  Sad. I also like these English club sandwiches, almost the only reason to visit the UK  Big grin.

Two hearty pieces of GOOD rye bread (the hell with the Atkins diet) filled with Easter leftovers....better known as GOOD baked ham....had one for lunch, and I just might have another this evening while I watch the Detroit Red Wings. Of course, tonight's sandwich will be accompanied by one, maybe two Bud Heavies (again, the hell with the Atkins diet).  Smile

Hello,

As far as sandwiches go, its gotta be one from Subway. Warm roast-chicken breast, with lettuce, onions, gurkins and chipotle-southwest sauce.

As for Burgers, a mixed double of flame-grilled chicken and beef with cheese, fried onions, lettuce garlic-mayonaise, ketchup, salt& pepper, and of course Gurkins and tobasco sauce!

The muffaletta sandwich from Central Grocery on Decatur in the French Quarter of New Orleans. The best part or my trip there last year. I'd go again just for the sandwich.

I love chicken marinara sandwitch with lettuce, not tomatoes no onions (for the ladies, of course) and no olives.

I also like anything with aa VAST variety of good meats and cheeses.

Both of these will be accompanied by about 3 gallons of hot sauce.
