What do you guys think about the Quebec City Summit of the America's meeting? Security is pretty tight, they're building a 4km chained link fence perimeter.

At my University the student union is offering free bus transportation to Quebec to join in the protests. I hope that cooler heads will pervail, but it is looking like it could turn ugly.

I think it is pretty stupid to have such high security measure, you gotta draw the line somewhere.

What about the businesses and the residents within the perimeter? what do they do?

They just deal with it, no special authorization nothing, if they have to go on the other side of the street and the fence is on their way they have to find a way to get around it...
