Just curious if there any O'Reilly loyalists out there who are premium members to BillOReilly.com, and is it worth the upgrade? I watch him daily on FOXNews, but miss his radio show and am looking to purchase Who's Looking Out for You? in the near future.

Any thoughts?

I love the guy's show, joined the Premium site for a while.

IMO, It's not really worth the price at all.

I mean, I can tune my radio to listen to O'Reilly if listening at home, and if I'm online elsewhere... then there's a good chance that listening to a talk show (even with headphones) wouldnt be an option. I really don't care about archived articles and there are already public polls on the site, so why bother with private members-only ones?

*****

On the other hand; you may want to try Sean Hannity's website, which has all the same features as O'Reilly's Premium site (including live & 24hr streaming of Hannity's radio show), but everything's free  Big grin

Nope, the only one I ever considered joining was Art Bell's but then he retired again.

What do you think of his radio show?

I wasn't impressed there is a local guy that has a better show here in Tampa IMO.

I like it quite a bit...

a lot less self-promoting bullshit than Rush's show (whom I also like; but am sometimes annoyed to no end by, as per the aforementioned reason). Was hoping the recent scandal would change that, but apparently it did not... so Bill's the man.

Anyways, ......here's to looking forward to the day that Ludracris & 50cent appear on "The [Radio] Factor"  Big thumbs up  Big thumbs up

I would love to see 50cent go on Bill's show. I don't get to hear the Radio Factor, because I am work when it comes on. But his talk show is the best, the gus has some serious cajones.

I watch him on FoxNews. I usually generally watch him during the end when he's reading those emails on the air.

Both very great t.v. and radio shows. Sean and Bill. Don't listen to the radio factor though. I love Hannity's site. I listen to it a lot. I am just curious does anyone know what the heck happened to Flirty Flipper. I know she was pregnant and all but, I thought she was going to continue on. Anyways, Sean is my favorite but Bill is number two on that list, followed by Rush, who I do listen to when I can.

Not that I miss her to any conceivable magnitude....

...last I heard she was on maternity and working on her own website/projects (a link should be on Sean's site), but plans to eventually be back.  Sad

Not quite the case for Mr. O'Reilly. Per his website:

Is Bill a Republican, Democrat, or what?
Bill is independent.

In his latest best-selling book,
Who's Looking Out for You, Bill writes, "& ideologues can never look out for you. They are too blinded by the light on the right or the left and will never see things for what they really are. If you become an ideological prisoner, the truth will always elude you because you will never seek it. Instead, you'll evaluate each issue and problem with an agenda: trying to prove your ideology is correct."

Al Franken uncovered in his book about O'Reilly (et al) that O'Reilly was actually a registered republican, despite his protests otherwise.

It's not like O'Reilly ever denied that he was.

Among his most common tirades is why he went Independent-- meaning he wasn't always  Insane

What's LatinAviation, moderator and all, doing here plugging an O'Reilly book? The man can't even write, much less think?
As I have many US friends, I wouldn't want to call O'Reilly a typical American, but I do worry about LatinAviation...

Thanks, Caravelle. I am fine, no need to worry. And I am not a moderator of any of the forums. No book plugging, either, just soliciting feedback.

Guess that's why the man's had two NYT Best Sellers...

...as well as why his opinion-based shows are #4 in broadcast radio and #1 in cable news for the last two years running  Yeah sure
