Here's a challenge: Post pictures ONLY of yourselves, and no replies or comments should be made unless you're willing to post ANOTHER photo of yourself along with it. In other words, NO text-only posts.
If someone starts, I will follow along straight away . . .

Hello All,
How do I post a photo along with my reply - I have a couple of (1 year old) pics of myself during my flight training! Another is me in a swimming pool about 2 years ago. I Will try and get it to work anyway.
Tell me if it doesn't work and I'll try something else.

Hello All,
Yeah - its Woodvale! I'm not on the squadron anymore - I quit about 2 weeks ago because I didn't get down there enough (its at least an hour from Lancaster Uni by car, and lifts were hard to come by - often took the train).
I really didn't get much continuity except over the summer hols when I got about one month on the base in a row and did most of my flring then. However, I quit and the last flight I took was only 1 in 4 flights over a 6 month period - too long to remember anything! As it was, that flight went terribly and I didn't want to spend hours trying to get back on form as I wasn't exactly the best pilot there, probably one of the worst
Still, I got through one third of the course and enjoyed the solo flying immensely - after all, military flying/life isn't for everyone - I guess I fall into that actegory!
I will try and get my PPL after I graduate from Uni when I've actually got some time on my hands - perhaps learn in the US or something similar.
I'll post more pics when I upload them - though will be a while. Kaz - wheres watford ATC based? When I was in the CCF we flew from RAF Benson - slightly more busy than the time warp that is Woodvale!
I was actually once in the circuit and some irritating civilian in a cesna 152 cut in frot of me and forced me to go-around. You didn't happen to fly from Woodvale over the summer in 2003 did you?

Diamond, you said you live in L.A.? Your profile says you're a trainer. I'm looking for a personal trainer that'll show me how to work out right for maybe a couple weeks this summer. I live in Anaheim, though. If you can recommend anyone, I'd appreciate that.
I'm a scrawny as hell, 5'11er. Really scrawny. Basically have 4 months at home to get my IFR and work out. So yeah, any recommendations in the Anaheim area would be nice.
Thanks,
FSP
