Why I see a car with Hawaii Liscensed car driving in New York, am I mad or the car dive into pacific ocean?

I saw one on I64 in Southern Illinois, and my aunt saw one in I70 in Colorado.

My only guess is someone moved (why they would move OUT of Hawaii is beyond me) and hadn't relicensed their car yet.

Yea, it's a long drive, see my Grandma has always wanted to go to Hawaii and well since she lives right next to the Pacific Ocean we just rolled the windows up go a snorkel for the exhaust and headed out!!! We got the about six months later.

Probably military personnel. They can register their cars in their home state, or any state in which they're currently stationed. They also get their relocation costs (shipping a car, for example) paid for by the military as they are reassigned.
