Well, midi files from your harddrive ain't going to work!
You will need to upload that midi sound file to a website and once you have done that you will have to locate the sound file's URL (Uniform Resource Locator) address - the same as with a photo. Once you have done that, then you need to type the following instruction into a suitable place in your user profile:

You are hearing Fun Fun Fun by the Beach Boys because that's what I imbedded in my first post!
Boeing 747-400's attempt at imbedding sound will not work, because he has left out some inverted commas, apart from which the URL looks wrong.
I'll have a closer look at that when I get a chance. However don't have any more attempts at imbedding sound in this particular post - it already has background sound.

I've had a look at what you were trying to do. You have a web address that takes you to the site of a midi file entitled gonna_make_you_sweat, but not the URL of the midi file itself, so it won't work. Also the inverted commas before and after the URL address, once located, are necessary, or the midi file will not load. So what you were trying to do should in fact have looked like this, other than for the < > brackets which need to replace the { } brackets
I've tried it in a new post and it works - don't try it here, or you will have a sound file on top of an already embedded sound file, apart from which the URL address is rediculously long!
