OMG how can you possibly make light of an accident where someone might have been hurt, or almost killed.. That would be like making a joke about breast cancer

Pfft, I saw Trauma on Discovery the other night, and a guy there had probably had the worst day of his life.

He'd been climbing around in a tree, when he slipped and fell 12 feet down - and hita vertical standing branch. With rectum first. And the branch went up his rear end and proceeded to move through his body, all the way up to his chest. I didn't know to laugh or cry when they first showed the pics of him. He was buttnaked and with something like 2 feet of branch & leaves sticking out his rear end.

I used to think the brain is the most fascinating part of my body. But, hey, who is telling me that?

Did anybody else catch that the boat that's sticking out of the pillar's name is "Temporary Insanity II"? Laugh out loud I did get a laugh out of that one.

I looked after the insurance claims for the containers on the Ville de Orion pic. We looked after the cargo claims - i remember we lost ten boxes over the side and didnt get any of them back. Came to about US$4m as i recall - had to write a claims report about it which is why i remember. Not a big deal - try APL China and OOCL San Francisco if you wanna see some real bad ass storm damage.
