You have to hand it to the Canadians.... they did play a good game
True, but Sweden was the best team in the tournament , but they screwed up in the final

Well, if they had played like it, maybe they would've won.... and not folded like a cheap Ikea tent after Canada scored those two goals late in the second

I was really rooting for Sweden, they looked like they had a lot to give after they beat the Americans 3-2
Well, you know that Swedes can't play hockey the way Canadians can. Heck, there's more teeth in Nylander's mouth than in the whole forward line of the Canadian team
We're just rougher. We don't always play nice.
And besides, we don't even have our top Boys of Winter in that game; Iginla, Sakic, etc., are still playing in the NHL playoffs. The guys on the Canadian team aren't of the same "calibre" of NHL stars as some in the Swedish line-up; Sundin, Forsberg.....

I will also have to say congratulation to Canada. I watched the whole game. And I must say that the swedes impressed me the first part of the game. But when they got ahead 3-1 it was like they fell back. And that is really a shame because they started out so well.
But even though I hoped for the swedes to win, I think it was fair enough that Canada won. They were really the better team.

I now officially hate Canada
No seriously, Canada and most other teams play rough when they have to, while Sweden don't... That's why Sweden lost in the end rather than in the beginning, we were out of muscles...

Tbar,
I think he played against Switzerland but I'm not sure.
Yeah that's actually true BMA. It was the second year in a row the canadians intentionally tried to injure the swedish players. Just look at Forsberg the tackle he got. That was a nasty one.

Congratulations to Canada!
My comment is about the quality of referees. Slovakia scoring against Russia while having 6 players on the ice, Canada scoring against Slovakia after fouling their goalie and showing up late for 3rd period all went completely unnoticed or ignored by the refs. Unbelievable...
