Just been on another forum, it seems like my "opinions" were considered "disgusting" by the hippies there (I wont mention the site), but I was talking about how much more research could be done into nuclear testing, for medical/research backgrounds.
All of a sudden it seemed like Id just killed their cats, the mods deleted my post, everyone told me to f.off, i was called a s.hole, all this just for voicing an opinion.
Thank god everyone here is more welcoming and jenerous, Im always grateful for any posotive/even constructive criticism I have here, cos I know you guys are the best

Anyone hating anything nuclear is stereotypically a ''hippie''.
Brilliant. How many times have you done that over there, maybe that's why you got knocked off, cuz you kept labeling them and their short-attention spans reacted to you...
Majority of aviation enthusiasts are traditional and so are their "opinions" among other things, that may be why you get the impression that you do; they label too.
Those mods spend all their time in one forum, the ones here have others to attend to. We aren't nicer, just most are not often around enough to bitch.
The meaning of life is curiosity; we were put on this planet to explore opportunities.

I live here in San Francisco and there aren't hardly any hippies left. The few who are around live in trailers that don't have Internet access. So I seriosuly doubt the TRUE hippies are flaming you on that site.

It's true that most aviation people are relatively conservative type folks, but here on a.net i'd say the spread (at least from the people who post) it's about like 60/40 or so (conservative/liberal). I consider myself an ultra-steadfast and never unrelenting liberal. to the extreme. haha. but yet i support nuclear (and alternative) energy sources. they do a hell of a lot less harm on the environment than oil drilling and what not does. nuclear energy is even more regulated than the aviation industry, and as well all know thast about as regulated as we can think of, i can't imagine how regulated the Atomic Energy Commision must be.
