"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of "liberalism" they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."
-- Norman Thomas, Former Socialist Presidential Candidate

"If I were reincarnated, I would wish to be returned to Earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels."
-- Prince Phillip, World Wildlife Fund
Does this sound at all like NAZI reasoning? i.e. We have to kill a lot of people, not me though, in order to make the world a better place. You first Phil.

"I believe that Government has the right to be involved in the growth and progress of our children.."
-- Al Gore, 1996 Democratic Convention. Try to find even one government "right" in the Constitution. The rights are supposed to be the people's Al.

"Christianity is our foe. If animal rights is to succeed, we must destroy the Judeo-Christian Religious tradition."
-- Peter Singer, "The father of animal rights", honored with an endowed chair at Princeton's Center for Human Values in 1999.
Don't send innocent kids to Princeton University.

"We reject the idea of private property."
-- Peter Berle, President of the National Audubon Society

"People are the cause of all the problems; we have too many of them; we need to get rid of some of them, and this is as good a way as any."
-- Charles Wurster, Environmental Defense Fund
People are a real pain. I wonder if Charles will volunteer to "rid" us of himself? What a tree nazi.

"This is a political game. It has nothing to do with science. It has nothing to do with health and safety."
-- Sherry Neddick, Greenpeace

"We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society."
-- Hillary Clinton, 1993. This is socialism in a nutshell. The problem with these pretty sounding words? Once the individual's rights are gone, government can trample anyone in a quest for a "best society". Every government directed genocide (An asside: notice that bad old "Corporate America" hasn't committed any genocides?) from Russia to China to Cambodia, was an attempt to create a better society. This was essentially Hitler's reasoning (NAZI is the acronym, in German, for the German National Socialist Workers party). Anihilating Jews and other "undesirables" was best for society in his view. Not that Hillary wants to kill anyone. I don't know. But once the individual citizens' rights are lost, all is possible.

"I want to say one thing to the American people. I want you to listen to me. I'm going to say this again. I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anyone to lie, not a single time, never. These allegations are false."
-- President Bill Clinton. The DNA on Monica's dress proved otherwise. What do you think Clinton's spin machine would have been said about Monica had she not had the proof on that dress? Clue: Think about ALL the other Clinton-connected women and how they were mercilessly trashed in the media.

"I'll have those ni**ers voting Democratic for the next 200 years."-- Lyndon B. Johnson, former Democratic president and congressman. This is according to my copy of "You Don't Say" by Fred Gielow, pg 33-34. Johnson is quoted as saying it to two governors on Air Force One - Gielow takes the quote as described in the book "Inside the White House" by Ronald Kessler.

"I wish that God would give me the capacity to function for a year without sleep. That would make me very happy. But I think it is highly unlikely, therefore I will keep trying to get some."
-- President Bill Clinton. Who does this guy think he is? What about all the time he wasted getting blowjobs? We'd all be better off if he and his big government buddies would just leave us alone. And what does he mean by "get some" anyway?

"We kill the women. We kill the babies, we kill the blind. We kill the cripples. We kill them all."
-- Khallid Muhammad. This was Muhammad's advice to the black-led government of South Africa, recommending the murder of all whites who refuse to leave South Africa. Khallid Muhammad is the founder of the hatemongering Washington DC based New Black Panther Party, and a former Nation of Islam official.

"It depends on what the meaning of the word is, is."
-- President Bill Clinton, grand jury testimony, August 1998.

"Make them fear government."
-- Vladimir I. Lenin

"Nearly everyone will lie to you given the right circumstances."
-- Bill Clinton, in Time magazine

"And so a lot of people say there's too much personal freedom. When personal freedom's being abused, you have to move to limit it."
-- President Bill Clinton

"Control the children by removing the parents."
-- Vladimir I. Lenin
Our leftist controlled educrat establishment must be listening. Government school (public school) administrators, in cahoots with teacher's union leaders, increasingly attempt to undermine parental authority and force the teaching of leftist dogma rather than the "the 3 R's".

"What luck for rulers, that men do not think."
-- Adolph Hitler

"We like your president. I will give you 300,000 U.S. dollars. You can give it to the president and the Democratic Party. We hope he will be re-elected."
-- Gen. Ji Shengde, head of Chinese military intelligence, to Johnny Chung (according to the testimony of big-time Clinton supporter Chung)

"I guess I'll just have to roll over one more time."
-- Webster Hubbell, in a tape recorded conversation, referring to an investigation of Hillary Clinton. Many suspect that Hubbell was rewarded with Chinagate dollars for protecting the First Lady.

Scary stuff, isn't it Lindberg? This nation needs to get a wake up call and make a 180.
And, no, it isn't a 'sill attack' on the left... it is showing how messed up the USA is in terms of socialism. Canada can do anything they like... I could care less.

I have a whole list of bad quotes that various people in my camping trip said...

Only initials will be given for the quotees unless it is me.

"I saw a snake today. I hate snakes. They serve no purpose on earth but to eat little defenseless animals. Some argue that without snakes, more kamikaze chipmuncks would be alive: not necessarily true. The amount of kamikaze chipmunks that exist now may be the maxium environmental capacity, so therefore, the population would level off. But according to St. Augustine, God created everything, so everything is good. So therefore, snakes are good. St. Augustine is full of s***."
S.O., on snakes and kamikaze chipmunks

"That's the most sand in the world"
M.T., on seeing the Great Sand Dunes national monument

"I was a loser in 7th grade"

"Do snakes fart?"

"The indians shape those trees at birth"
M.T., on trees that fork off and have two major trunks from one base.

OK- fine... those are slip-ups. The quotes Lindberg was posting are people's true (and SCARY) thoughts. God save us all from those people in the first post.
What in inappropriate reply, CP, to a serious thread. We've heard the GW slip-ups a million times (just as you've heard the Algore slip-ups a million times).

Always go to other people's funerals, otherwise they won't come to yours

Baseball is 90 percent mental. The other half is physical

Because it gets late early; on why it's so tough to play left field in Yankee stadium

If the people don't want to come out to the park, nobody's gonna stop them

It ain't over till it's over

It's deja vu all over again

No wonder nobody comes here; it's too crowded

We have very deep depth!

We made too many wrong mistakes

How about:

The left don't read, and the right don't think.

His attachment to those of his friemds whom he could make useful to himself was thoroughgoing and exemplary.

-John Quincy Adams on Thomas Jefferson

Politics, as a practice, whatever its professions, had always been the systematic organization of hatred.

-Henry Adams

Too bad all the people who know how to run the country are busy driving cabs and cutting hair

-George Burns

One fifth of the people are against everything all the time.

-Robert Kennedy

It is by the goodness of God that in our country we have those three unspeakably precious things: freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and the prudence never to practice either of them.

-Mark Twain

More than a little truth to that I'd say...

About parents & children:

Why is it that to drive a car, to vote, and to do anything useful at all, someone has to pass some sort of intelligence / skill test, while every f*cking pair of morons can have children? Now THAT should be illegal...

I just wish 90% of parents weren't such idiots, then maybe 90% of children wouldn't be idiots either...

PS: So in what way is drumming on that old news about Clinton & Ms L any better than quoting GW Bush's stupidity? Those aren't just slip-ups, they are proof that your president is just about qualified to enter the second grade of primary school, where he still needs to learn a lot...

Mr. Bush's bumbles are no worse than the horrific spelling and grammar most of you who criticize him use in here everyday. The difference you are overlooking is that GW's misquotes and bumbles make him human, while what Comrade Clinton and company have to say clearly show that they perceive themselves to be superhuman. I, for one, am relieved beyond words to have a man of character and principle, a man of the people, in the White House to replace the festering sore that has infected it for the last 8 years. Our Republic has been undermined long enough. Do you know that they no longer teach the Constitution in most public schools anymore? It is too big a threat to the left wing socialist agenda. If people truly understood the Constitution, they would never stand for the policies against public properties and public rights that have been summarily crammed down our throats for the last 8 years. Go ahead and bury your heads in the sand, but when they finally take away your freedom of speech ( which they will ), you will wish that you had listened to what us "right wing rads" had been saying before it is too late. Now, mock me all you want, you intellectual left wing pricks. I have heard it all before and don't care what you think any more now than I did before.
