"No Tunnels Have Been Found"-Israel

Posted (10 years 5 months 5 days 22 hours ago) and read 1853 times:

Over the last three days, Israelis have:

1. killed over 44, Palestinians including many children,
2. critically maimed 189,
3. injured 568,
4. destroyed over a hundred homes,
5. created thousands of homeless people,
6. illegally detained 54 Palestinians including women and a 15 year old boy
7. damaged Rafah's main hospital
8. destroyed cars
9. tore up main and secondary roads
10. plunged the Rafah camp into darkness after destroying electricity supplies
11. destroyed water pumps providing water for civilians
12. attacked Gaza zoo killing and stealing many animals

and now Israeli Army spokeswoman Maj. Sharon Feingold said "No tunnels have been found", which is why they conducted this attrocity

Here is a quote or two from Palestinians:

"I hardly recognized my own street," said Abdel Rahim Abu Jazer, 42, a teacher. "I don't think an earthquake could do what the Israeli army did to this area."

"I came to get some stuff from my house but there's nothing left to take," said Sami Mekawi, 28, a resident of the Brazil neighborhood. "All I see is sand and rubble and torn-down electrical poles and destroyed roads."

I guess there is no end to Israel's state terrorism

Remember Horus, peace will come now, okay?

Finally because of this campaign, Israel will live in peace.

The Palestinians are not angry at all. Hamas and other groups will no longer do suicide attacks against Israelis. The Arab countries will have more respect for Israel now that they have shown how much they care about achieving peace and how respectful they are to the Palestinian people.  Insane

Was it an Israeli secret service mistake, or just another insult to the whole world intelligence?

I hope they will not try their luck to find them in another Palestinian camp later.
I mean how do they choose their targets? Is it evidance-based or what?

I guess this is war, and wars aren't a Lotto game? or is it in Israel?

Is it the first Israeli war mistake against Civilians?
Have they ever compensated for their mistakes?
I know that the Americans do compensate for Iraqis killed civilians.
Do the Israelis have the same spirit?

Why can't they just get round a table and act like grown men. The Isrealis need to get rid of the settlements and just pull back into Israel. The Palestinians need to elect a decent government who can communicate at statesman level and establish a real democracy with a good tourist industry (for religious as wellas regular tourists) and a solid infrastructure, The Arab nations, along with the UN, EU and USA need to plow funds into a central trust for Palestine. Open up a McDonalds in Ramala, a virgin megastore in Bethlehem, build a state of the art International Airport in Palestine for the first time. Tourists from all over the world could visit the holy sites, immerse themselves in 7000 years of history, as well as Arab culture, food and art. Israeli and Palestine could contest their rivalry on the football pitch with an annual football tournament between middle eastern football teams (like the European Cup), Israeli and Palestinian professors would share data on ancient relics found in both regions dated back to biblical times and further, Palestine would be like Israel's little brother under the wing of it's more experienced neighbor, learning how to deal on the world stage and forge relationships with older nations, untlimately leading to peace for the region. Eventually the two states becoming staunch allies, Israel importing Palestinian labor and produce, Palestine hosting Jewish religious festivals at the tomb of Abraham and having leading Israeli academics teaching at it's many universities..........................Oh wait, I'm daydreaming again, I really weep for this region, I wish, hope and pray that they sort this out and stop the bickering!

Just for the record Horus, Israel found over 90 tunnels in Rafah in the past 3.5 years.
If the Palestinian authority and Egypt were doing what they were supposed to do, Israel wasn't there.

And thus we hit on a key point in this whole Palistinian-Isreali conflict.

The Palistian Authority was expected to provide a law enforcement precense that would intercept the smuggling of weapons and sucide bombers.

They have failed miserably to do that, it can be claimed that they actually encouraged the opposite.

The only way Israel can respond is military not with law enforcement. And anytime you try to use the military as a law enforcement tool it gets very ugly.

Exactly! Yet, Horus and others don't say a word about the fact that weapons are being smuggled into these areas--Oh yeah, they support that!

I still find it ironic (and selfish) that these Arab members will support something like this that will add fuel to the fire, and will result in many more innocent Palestinians dying when Israel responds. And we know they will.

Why should anyone other than the Arab nations that are actually in/border Palestine (wherever that nebulous "country" actually exists) pay?

Cedarwings, Looks like you found the only 3 year old killed that day in the entire world.  Insane I like how you try to manipulate it against Israel. Yes, innocent people die, in a war, people die.

What about the mass killings and war in Sudan? So far 60,000 people have died, but who really gives a shit, right, they are only negro's and they can survive without food and water.

****

They did this for many years, well Europe and the US did most of it, the Arab nations did very little. Problem is that Arafat spent most of it on weapons and his friends, and thus even Europe has stopped giving him much money now.

We should just take ALL the weapons away from both sides, build a HUGE wall right round Israel and Palestine, and leave them to it. Come back in 100 years and see who won. They're like little kids, both sides - its pathetic. I have no sympathy for either side to be honest. It sickens me when innocent bystanders get killed, but what the FUCK is one supposed to do about it ? Neither side is right, neither side is wrong - they just need to grow up and get over it.

Jutes,

Consider this a reply to your silly comment.

Israel has to understand that killing Palestinian innocent civilian is no better than hammas killing innocent Israelis, people don't see Israel anymore a country of freedom and civil rights as let's say "before".
The mulberry leaf has fallen, and for me, as for the whole international community, the Israeli and the Palestinians are equal now in term of killing and murdering.

I consider that Israel has to reconsider its policy, terror brings terror, killing brings killing and blood brings blood.

Find any round table, get rid of Arafat and Sharon, share this small piece of land and live together peacefully.

They are doing that. Except, the Arab World is going crazy over it because they are beginning to realize that Palestinians won't be able to use suicide bombings anymore.

Oh please. Are you telling me that you saw Israel in a positive light before 2000? Arabs have always hated Israel, and in the last few years they have been using the Palestinian situation as the reason why. There will always be something.

And you write about Israel killing Palestinian civilians as if they kill them the same way Palestinians kill Israelis. IT IS NOT THE SAME! Trying to kill a terrorist leader who hides amongst children, and intentionally killing civilians is not the same, no matter how you cut it.

So when Hamas kills, its okay because they are a crazy oganization, but when Israel kills in retaliation, its not okay because they are a democratic nation and therefore are the "good guys".

I say Israel should just pull back from the GS and WB and build a wall around both of them so that no-one can get in. If they want their freedom, let them have it, but if their lives don't improve, don't come crying back to Israel for help.
