My opinion on Al is that he really hasn't done anything funny since he was Saturday Night Lives roving reporter with the 1.3 meter parabolic dish strapped to his head.
His one book he read was the equivelent of a diary and a book of rants. He doesn't seem to be able to express his views without talking about somebody else or taking shots at them if he disagrees with them.

Funny, that sounds curiously like most conservative talk show hosts and writers. Now that I think about it sounds like a lot of liberals too. Im almost starting to think that neither side can really debate anything without taking potshots at each other. Isnt a Pundit defined as a learned person? I guess they have redefined it.

As for Ann Coulter, she is such a screeching, hysteric, wild-eyed PMSing banshee that she destroys whatever sex appeal she may have. Plus, she finds Dick Cheney "sexy," so gotta take off points for mental acuity.
And she says with a straight face that she spent years as a Deadhead (as in follower of the band, not as in pilot) and never once smoked wacky tobackee. Just doesn't add up....

Sadly I have to say that I really did not like Al Franken's book. Not because of the facts in it but in the way he is portraying himself.
I am not sure if he is trying to be funny when he elaborates how he's never lied or whatever. If he wants to be funny, it's not. If he wants to say that he's never lied (except in ultra necessary instances) then he is a lying liar, also.
