since madonna is like 80 now, and she postponed her second show because of "illness" what do you think of her?

will she be like the rolling stones and do tours when she is actually 80?

personally i am growing tired of her presence. NOT her music of years past, just her presence.

She is past her prime, yes, but she is still incredible.

I do somewhat think she's past her prime... but that's sorta to be expected for a married mother of two. I rather doubt there's much she can do to shock us anymore.

However, as always, she's reinventing the way she presents herself (taking this "motherhood" role to a whole new level, thanks to Britney).... which is still gonna keep her in headlines for years to come.

What acts from the 80s and 90s *aren't* past their prime? I think she's holding up quite well thank you very much. When was the last time you saw Mick Jagger try the congress of the crow on stage?

Madonna is always has her unique style of performance which make her famous. She is a talent star and make her show into reality. She got the style ahead of everyone else. I'd worship her as much as I did for Cher.

Those young chicks such as Britney, christina...... will have alot to learn from Madonna in order to keep their name up for the next 20 years. I just hate that Britney and cannot stand her.

Maybe past her prime but not finished yet i am sure. I view Madonna in the same way my parents viewed Elvis.
She has done, imho, a huge amount for music, and is a pure icon.

She'll be "re-inventing" herself when she's eighty and her boobs are bouncing off her knees. And THEN, that will be cool too. All the rage in the Senior Centers!  Laugh out loud Her Music is timeless, her body, well  Insane

Hey Concordeboy, my wife has had two kids (not kids any more) and is still one hot woman.

[disclaimer - I'm working in the middle-east and haven't seen my wife for eight weeks, so maybe I'm just a little horny. She's arriving on a week's visit on Saturday - I may not be posting for a few days  Laugh out loud]

I like her music, and, as a more mature man, I thought her best body phase was around the time of "Material Girl" - curvy without being fat. I liked her less when she went all 'hard body' a few years later.

Obviously NOT past her prime if she is being targeted by the PLO!
Maybe that should be the new benchmark?

Well I went to see her show on Monday night here in Los Angeles. It was OKAY. Everyone who went to see it felt like she was holding back or not giving her full self till the second 1/2. It seemed clear to me that in her head the old stuff is past her prime and that she was just going through the motions to please the crowd.

The woman is a big bore.
Her fans are not interested in her kabbalah snore-a-thons and her new crappy music. All that they want for her to do is sing her 80s stuff like Holiday. She needs to get with the program.
