I have both 6 and 8 down on the farm. I think I've only used the 8 a couple of times. The 6 works quite well for my (mostly) cedar. Diameter of logs makes a difference as well as wood species. Regards...Jack

I suspect L-188, that there are a few here, Cptkrell is one, who know what it is. Living where I am now, splitting wood is an unknown science. I think very few of my neighbors could tell the difference between a maul and an axe. They'd probably try to chop down a standing mesquite with the maul. That would be fun to watch though.

Is grammar no longer taught is schools? Saying "me and her" or some such implies illiteracy.
