Did anyone see the news clip of Bush walking to board Air Force One today? It was a bit windy and his umbrella flip inside out and for the duration of the walk he was fumbling with it to get it open... everyone on the planet knows when and umbrella is inverted by strong winds.. you turn 'the cupped' end of umbrella towards the wind and it will be blown back to it's designed shape! Bush gave up at the stairs of AF1 and just gave it to an aid. Finally the media is starting to show what we've known all along.. now if we could only get clips of the bicycle accident!

Disclaimer:Yes, B757300, L1011 and all you other little NYC members... this is an Dubya bashing thread.

Depending on where he was, it might be legal, but not really smart, of course he might just be sitting on the kick stand for the photo.

Laura must have read the illustrated version to him the night before.

Can you imagine if these pictures made it to the Iraqi public? As they will.

(Spoke to a colleague in the UAE who said that the Arab media and public was in splits over them)

Between butt-happy GIs and our very own stalled Mary Poppins, I'm sure America is REALLY standing tall.

What friggin luck is that? The person next to him was fine and he had to have the umbrella that went postal, I'll bet it was rigged to make him look all retarded.

>> " If there is any doubt about what an idiot he is... " <<

Oh come on, DC10guy, everyone has been in that situation, how is he an idiot when it was the wind's fault! Although, if I were him, I would not be caught walking with an inverted umbrella. That's says 'hit me' all over it. He should have been able to get help from the SS, where the hell were they?

DC10 is just upset because GW actually gets the umbrella opened.... DC10 still has some issues with those things, and probably is mad because rain gets his hair wet? Sounds likely..  Big grin
