But his ghost is still roaming the halls of the White House having conversations with the portraits of the Presidents.

United Airline, don't you have search engines in your internet access? If so, a quick query on Nixon would've immediately answered your question. LOL!  Yeah sure

If he was not allready dead then he would have surely had a heart attack when he found out that Superfly waited hours in line to pay his respects.

Nah, Nixon is dead all right. The only former Presidents still with us are Carter, Ford, Bush Sr & Clinton. And maybe Bush Jr shortly. Regards.

I always get Ford and Johnson mixed up - don't know why. Possibly because they both took over for Presidents who left the job ahead of schedule.

My favorite Nixon story is how the Secretary Of Defence and Kissinger (what about VP Ford?) had to get their heads together and tell the military to check in with them if the President (who at this time was immersed in Watergate) gave them any unusual instructions.
Nixon's drunken ramblings to Kissinger, including comments that "we've gotta nuke 'em Henry" triggered this.
Of course in the 50's when Tricky Dicky was VP, Eisenhower tolerated him by giving him even less to do than normal VP's, he could read Nixon's character and did not like what he saw, however he was deemed to be good with the public and a younger face was seen to be needed in this Administration.
