Why would anyone be ashamed to admit he likes music by a certain artist only because that artist has a less-than-perfect reputation? I like music from the 80s a lot, but I dread the haircuts, the fashion and the clips from that time... if MTV was to air a "back to the roots" show, I'd be the first to change channel.

She is one of my top 3 Divas -- quite rare for someone to last so long, and when you push the hype aside, they actually can sing.

Why is it embarrassing. She has sold millions upon millions of albums. She is truly a megastar.
Russophile did a good job listing the best, but have to add a couple....
Like a Virgin
Forbidden Love
Her best album? Ray of Light - no question about it
Her worst? Probably Bedtime Stories - just songs together, not really a "sound" to the album like she has in Ray of Light
VSLover
U lucky devil. Have never seen her live and would love to. Expensive tickets? I saw on Ebay UK seats for her sell out in Wembley this August. A-Block, at the front - 475GBP per ticket. That's like 850USD per seat! Jeez. I would love to see her, but just can't afford it. Gutted

Thats the thing VSLover. Part of the reason I would go and see her would be for the spectacle. Plus you have to start considering how many more times she will want to tour.
I think had I been in steady employment, I would have justed put it on the trusty credit card and worried about it later. Unfortunately, being boring and responsible at the moment.
Should be a great show though. The atmoshphere is gonna be great I bet.

I LOVE MADONNA TOO.
Her music from the 80s and some of her stuff from the 90s all have made it into my CD collection. I love her voice.. I love her music.. And I love the way she looks.
I don't care if people think she's 'dirty', a slut or what have you, she is a great performer. Plus she is totally hot. It wouldn't matter if she's was in her 20s, 30s, 40, 50s or 60s.. I'd still want to bang her..
