I'm Welsh and I love both.. Wales and the UK..
But whilst driving into Cardiff a couple of days ago I saw a small poster advertising a certain website - http://www.freewales.ws
It's quite scary.. their ideas are not the nicest and I can't stand what they would do if they had the chance.
These people are like the IRA and should be stopped now.. Britain allows it's citizens to move around the country, whether an English person decides to live in Wales or a Scot decides to live in England..it doesn't matter!

Free Wales!!!! It should be free England. The Welsh and the Scottish are still represented in Westminister and can take part in decisions that affect England. Whereas Wales and Scotland have to some extent there own elected decision making parliaments which the English have no say in. The best example of this is top up fees not being introduced in Scotland.

Seems like this group have got a real chip on their shoulders. Their comments indicate that they see all English people as an enemy and how much better Wales would be if an English person was never allowed near Wales again.
There has always been a feeling of resentment from Wales/Scotland/Ireland towards England, due to history mainly, and because of a feeling that they get a raw deal whan compared to England. Ask most Englishmen who live outside of London and they will tell you that their region gets a raw deal too.
Whilst it is true that some regions of the UK need more help, it is uninformed and narrow-minded by this group to claim all english people are baddies.
Pretty sad really.
One thing I picked up from their rather amateur website:
In 1688 Thomas Jones believed the Welsh would soon be deleted from history

What a nutjob ! Wales stopped being independent nearly 1000 years ago - time to get over it, methinks ! The Welsh language is alive and well, there is a Welsh Assembly, CWL has two flights a week to Paris (ooh !), its like a little country all of its own !
P.S. Re the Watford thing, I agree, but think the line of demarcation for uncivilised barbarians should be moved south to the Thames.

How about if we throw in them haggis loving freaks in the far north, that might be enough?
Alex, son, for that comment I am going to be forced to make you experience hither to unexplored realms of pain - not only will I force you to have a killer hangover all through the MAN meet, but I'm also going to beat you up at opportune moments throughout the 2 day event - you mustn't be allowed to get away with this constant criticism of the fine people of Scotland!
your good friend Gordon!
