The suit selection at most big & tall shops isn't so great it appears.

Gorby had had a rough week.

I thought that he held himself out as a class act during the whole Reagan funeral service. Just about every speaker ripped on the USSR and the "evil empire" and Gorby just sat there and took it.

Whether he's reformed or not, one doesn't rise to the Presidency of the USSR without being a firm believer of communism. It had to sting a bit to hear all those things about one's country.

At first glance, it looks like they're wearing the same suit.

I thought it much more stinging that Gorbatchev´s part in ending the cold war was practically completely ignored and all the glory shoved over to Reagan in all the speeches I´ve heard.

Reagan may have had a part in it, but ignoring Gorbatchev´s contribution was unhistoric and just plain rude. Without Reagan the cold war may have ended anyway, but almost certainly not in a peaceful way without Gorbatchev.

Gorbachev has always bought his suits from Savile Row in London. He was renowned for it when in power. That's another argument...the GS of the then Communist Party buying thousand pound suits....
