I was very lucky to be invited to the Virgin Atlantic 'Channel Challenge' yesterday when Sir Richard Branson broke the Guinness Book record crossing the Channel in an amphibious vehicle to celebrate the 20th birthday of VS.

An amazing event, and the hospitality was incredible. I've posted some of the pictures on the V-Flyer site at http://www.v-flyer.com/forum/flyer_search.asp?airport=English+Channel

Nice photos. I really want one of those water cars, I've seen them before. It'd be nice to be cruising down the road, then pull off and cross a lake!

A snip at just GBP 75,000 a piece  Smile

The company that makes them (Gibbs) was started by a New Zealander who was also at the event.
