A cup of coffee or tea together with a bowl of cornflakes (types vary) or a yoghurt during the week... on weekends, it's often a bit more than that, but it's different each week(end).

Frank

Umm.. on weekdays I don't eat breakfast very often, just a large cup of coffee and a portion of snuff to get in gear. On weekends I eat a couple of sandwiches with coffee, also cereals but not often.

Weekdays, a cup of coffee - weekends, warm croissants from the boulangerie down the road, with butter and raspberry jam, ground coffee and OJ. Mmmmm fattening.

I was going to pick up a doughnut or muffin from the bakery on the way home from work tonight.

Edit: can you tell I work a grave shift? That would be on the way home from work this morning.

Cheese danish and two cups of coffee. This is my usual weekend Breakfast, eat the danish and drink the coffee while reading the newspaper.

During the week, I usually pick up something on the way into work, usually some kind of biscuit (sausage biscuit, steak biscuit, chicken biscuit).

If I can sleep long: boiled egg, some fruit with yoghurt, a slice of bread with cheese and a cup of tea - not to forget the newspaper!

If I have to work early shift: a bowl of cornflakes, later on my way to work a banana and at work a muesli bar.

If I have to get up at 3 or 5 at night for the 2nd part of the nightshift: a yoghurt snack.

I'd simply faint on my doorstep without breakfast. How do you guys do it?

All depends: I work nights.

"Breakfast" during the workweek is some black beans over a toasted slice of pumpernickle bread and two 8 oz cups of strong coffee...at around 9:30 PM.

Morning fare is a glass of red wine...helps me drift off to sleep.

Weekends it's a pint of coffee, a corn muffin, and some yogurt.

Only a few times a year ( generally while travelling on vacations ) I'll assault my arteries with a stack of pancakes with butter and maple syrup, sausages, fried potatoes, and country ham.

On weekdays, I usually have a bowl of cereals with milk in the morning. On the weekend I almost always skip breakfast; if I don't, I'll have some bread with jam or Nutella, some milk and every once in a while an egg.

A fabulous breakfast is made up from coffee, orange juice, a roll, lemon curd, Dutch De Ruijter "chocoladehagel", some very German black bread, French Brie cheese and a lot of time.
