Well I figure I will start this thread off, myself, AA61HVY, and JCS17, took a trip to New York City this weekend. The intent was to have a big Anet meet but that didn't workout in the long run but we still made the best of it. We went to Bars strip clubs and JFK. I have never been to NYC before so I was glad to be with people who had been. I met Ryan (AA61Hvy) on Friday July 9th after I got in from my flight from BUF-JFK and him and I went out that night and got RYE TARTED in Time Square, it was a wicked night. The next day my self and Ryan met up with Josh (JCS17) and went down to Times square and got more then tuned and then hit the strip club.....but I will let Josh tell that one. On Sunday it was my last day in NYC, I had to come back up to Canada for work so JCS, AA and I all went to JFK for some spotting. It was an interesting day we ended up taking a taxi that got lost and then charged us $20 bucks for what we found out was just around the block ride. However we did manage to see some nice metal at JFK. I know I am being very vague on this but its late and I am tired, how ever we have lots of pics to show and once AA and JCS are home on Tuesday they will be posted. But this was a great weekend that was so worth it!!! We will do a more indepth report in this thread once everyone is back home. So until then!!!

Guys, stop bashing the Americans.. we don't all want to get banned!
I'm sure there are lots of successful USA meets, it's just that AA61hvy talked so big about his fantastic NYC Superpowers thing which was cancelled in the end, as we know.

Much ado about the TB-10 which I didn't know of either, so I decided to let Google handle it:

"Tower: 'USAirways please hold TB10 on finals for runway 24R'
USAirways: 'Hold 24R.. umm whats a TB10'"
I can understand him saying that, looks like the TB-10 is a little weiner aircraft. As there's lots of freak aircraft in Europe/Asia, he could've been expecting one of those. So I think you logic is false, thinking they were dumb because they didn't know what a little weiner single-engined aircraft (there are 100's of different single-engined aircraft) was, pffft.

I believe it, it does look like a fun ride, but I wouldn't expect everyone to know what one is.

I am meeting that old asshole-in-exile Startvalve at my own A.net meeting in SAT this weekend. We plan on sitting around and getting piss drunk, then look up free pictures of naked people online instead of paying $30 at the door of a titty bar.
Score a successful meeting in advance for the Americans

You know what kills me? The fact the Brits need to keep a fabricated score against the Americans. I mean is the inferiority complex that great that you need to go that route? Go have a spot of tea, a pint of bitter, and have a Soccer Riot. In the meantime, leave the Scoreboard stats to us, seeing as you will never catch up.

Well I sure as hell had fun, I would do it all over again. And if this was any kind of Spotting war the Canadians would win that one, cough cough YYZ meet???? hahahahaha Josh and Ryan are still there, I wish I could have gone to EWR with them but I had to come home for work or I would have been fired or worse given a really shitty job for the rest of the summer lol.
