You forgot to say that it also test your hearing afterwards.

The sound test is quite faint, so do not hesitate to give an extra kick to your computer sound volume beforehand.

cheers,

I didn't click the link but I had the "dot test" when I went in for my aviation physical.

Turns out I'm partly colourblind...can't discern the numbers within the dots very well at all. Very slight colour shade differences are undetectable to me, mostly on greens and blues. That would explain why dark blue to me always looked exactly the same as purple, I used to get corrected a lot for saying something was "purple" when it was actually dark blue. I've learned to tell the difference since though, not by shade but by darkness.

It was kinda surprising...my favourite colour is blue. Go figure.

This is the same test I took when I was inducted into the SAAF during national service - I stood there staring and said, "What am I looking for" - reply "Read out the number you see" - me "What number ?".

I am very colourblind, I can only see the first one.

You can see those things coming a mile away... I just turn off the sound (take out headphones as those programs sometimes un-mute the sound) and make the window small, then complete the 'task'.
