Are there any places in the UK - ideally around the Liverpool, Manchester, Midlands areas - which are designed for fun, fun, fun? Bar Alton Towers.

Ah yes, forgot all about that! Would you want to go sometime between February and, say, May? I think Feb. would probably be too cold. April, May perhaps. Well, anytime between October and May, really.

Well you can never guarantee decent weather in the north west, but I'd say October/November is a good time to go because of the illuminations, it's a pretty cool sight seeing all the lights and the trams and the tower all lit up at night - if a little tacky! On the otherhand, May would be warmer and you would avoid most of the school kids.

Hmm, places for fun.. well i drove thru the New Forest yesterday on my way to Bournemouth.. Now that is beautiful and fun for the 'nature loving' types.
Cant think of any more places.. im more of a scenery person!

Hmmm... Its hard for me to think of something fun to do in the UK but I would like to know to. I'll be back there in 6 weeks.
