El nino and la nina are part of a 6-or-so year cycle that we have no control over. Some seasons the effects are benign, others are violent and lead to the infamous 1997-1998 season. No suprise that it is returning really...

You know what...I am looking forward to this. For the last 2-3 years...Southern California was looking so parched...not to mention the fires. This will be a good relief.  Big thumbs up
