Pretty good episode this week on Amazing Race!!! Very little airline exposure just a flight from Cairo to Luxor. I didn't realize that they had two airports named "old" & "new" wow that's different. They must be close also, one team was taken to the "new" (international) instead of the "old" (domestic), within minutes they were at the other airport. They all still made their flight on the single LUXAIR charter to Luxor. Bye bye Pizza brothers, but I wanted some other teams to go before them!! Till next week! Looks like they are off into central or southern Africa.

Another good episode: more good shots from the Pyramids, and from the Temple of Karnak down in Luxor.
Anybody else catch the UA (too quick to see if it was a 757 or an Airbus) stock footage early on in the episode? Also looked like an LTU tri-jet stashed in for good measure.
I wasn't disappointed to see the brothers go, especially after some of their comments from last week, just wish it had been another way out for them. Now that loud mouth Mirna needs to go away.

Of course, the footage of Air Luxor consisted of a Luxair 737-500 (most people would not assume this is the airline of Luxembourg, I would guess); and when the plane landed in Luxor, it showed a Croatia Airlines A320.
I also saw that UA (looked like a 757 to me as well), and the LTU plane.
I was hoping this was the week Mirna and Smirna got out...I haven't liked them from the beginning, and their little taxi stunt was a little bizarre. THen again, once I saw the hobbling pizza brother, I could tell that it would be a miracle that they would make it out of this leg. The way he was walking just showed how much pain he was in.

When did UA start Egyptian domestic service with there 757's???!!!
It's quite funny to watch how the aircraft they show usually don't match the country they are in or even the airline they are really on!

Something makes me think the producers delayed the Air Luxor charter so that they could set up the "fresh start" all teams had at Luxor.
It's funny when I tell people I love planes and they think I'm weird.

I was only able to see the last half-hour of the Amazing Race tonight and all I can say is wow: After hundreds upon hundreds of hours of reality television, the moment that the cousins were eliminated was, to me, the best episode in reality-TV history. Charla's speech touched me heart.
It was so nice to see them off with a well-said, happy, remark.

probobly just the domestic and international terminals. Just like moscow's sherymevteo airports #1 and #2. #1 is domestic, and #2 is international.

Another excellent episode last night. The shots of Kilimanjaro and the Kenya leg were superb.
Disappointed to see Charla go, but seeing loud-mouth Mirna go is no big loss.
BTW, since when did NW pipe 747's into Cairo? ...
...I know, another piece of stock footage...

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, we've given away that Mirna and Schmirna get eliminated, but if you were planning on watching the rerun Saturday to see it all in its delicious glory...
What the #$%:& were the teams thinking planning on flying from Egypt to Kenya via Switzerland?!? That's like the team that flew from South America to South Africa (?) via New York and showed up a day later than everyone else.
Basically, M&C and the Bowling Moms tried to screw everybody over by not letting them on their Gulf Air flight--which didn't work. Their connection in the U.A.E. gets delayed, they arrive later, and they're never able to fight their way up from last place.
SO GLAD to see them go!!! Mirna is a lawyer? Who would be desperate enough to have her represent them? Although M&C were certainly good for drama ("I need a doctoro", "boat stop-ay--you go?" "I'm going to stand right here; you can do whatever the hell you want".) The show won't be the same without them.
Oh wait, Colin gets thrown in jail next week! Yes, there is justice in this world after all!! Confidential to Christie: Stand up for yourself, girlfriend! Stop taking Colin's @#&$!
Don't get me started. Man, I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure glad as hell to see Charla and Mirna out. Especially Mirna. She's been a total @#$%^ throughout the whole show and makes Charla do all the roadblocks.
Colin and Christie are all right to me, although I dislike the way they backstab other teams. Chip and Kim are my favourites right now.

Yesterday the episode was GREAT!!! Colin almost got arrested and it was tight all the way to the end!!! I think the bowling moms are next to go...But we'll see! I like Chip and Kim more & more...they are having such I good time, but Chip needs to watch the money!! (LOL) Is there really ex-Virgin 747's stored in Dubai? Also a little Kenyan Airways flight on a 737, (looked nice inside, IFE, & good looking seats). Sky diving looked scary to me but I would have loved to do the sand dune offroading 4x4 challenge!!! Can't wait for next weeks episode!!! Someone gets their hair chopped off!!!! Gotta love it!

I like how the Black fellow (forgot his name, Chip I think) was being so nice to the African people. I believe that he called a citizen "brother", but I doubt that he even knew what that meant, even if he could talk english.

AV8A - I can't count the number of times I've said "There's no way the Bowling Moms will make it." Yet they continue to make it through. I'm starting to like them more and more. Still like Chip & Kim the best though. Can't stand the Twins, Brandon & Nicole make me want to puke (if I hear "Baby" in that little whining voice again I'm going to go postal...) and I think Colin escaped from a psych ward somewhere. My bet for the next elimination are the Twins, although I'd LOVE to see Colin go just to watch him enter an uncontrollable rage and end up ripping Phil Keoghan's trachea out . Now THAT would generate ratings

Collin is the biggest a*s on TV a the moment. American friends take heed. It is that type of behaviour by one a*shole, that stereotypes the rest of you.
He told the Police officers "Hakuna Matata"!!!! What a lack of respect for the country that he is traveling in.

LOL!!!!!
That is so true!!! "God" that is just what I think to...they make me wanna puke!!! Colin I liked in the beginning but now your seeing the "devil" inside him, he is strange, rude and arrogant! I want to like the "twins" but they just seem a little (sorry to say SLOW). My vote to win is now Chip & Kim...they both are having a good time, playing the game well (except money), and are kind and respectful to the people in the countries they are guests in!!! They deserve it.
