I joined A.Net a while ago, and now, I wonder why I ever did. Do the 'crew' ever visit all of the forums. In the top echelon there are the snobbish tw*ts that know everything. Here, we have the basic human(?) loutish, uncouthed and under-educated people. I have posted only a few times in 'certain' forums'. The snobs end I did about 5 posts (3 of which I was 'told off' for) and they were deleted. Here, shit happens! That's why I'm writing this message here. The wankers win over the twats every time. That doesn't mean the wankers are better. I have found the whole site (forum wise) a contradiction of terms. I posted (as a newbie) (sic) in the wrong group (as I soon discovered) and was firmly told to check out old posts first. Who the f*ck do they think they are talking to? I'm 57 this year and I certainly don't need a 20-30 year old telling me to wind my neck in. I realise this is a Aviation (one of the best) site. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion, right? So, why do I get put down for airing my views when they touch a raw nerve in some people?

Johan you have a great site. Dump some of the prudes and crew members and let life go on. I realise this could well see my membership terminated.

I would like (apart from all the other vague people) an answer from the top man. Not your underlings but, from Johan.

Any replies from the USA will be totally ignored as, you are almost in as bad a state under GWB as we (I) are under TB (puke)

Well slaggers, now you have a chance to show your intelligence, knowledge or lack thereof. Reply if you must. Who gives a sh*t

Don't hate me, hate the (any) system.

PS Johan. If you decide to kill off my account because of what I have said, there WILL be a good side. It will save me cancelling!

As I said before.......

Great site. Great photographers along with their fantastic pictures.

Just a shame about the 'been there, done that' element.

All that because you couldn't stand being putin place by somebody younger than you ? Maybe your real name is B747Skipper ?

Okay, as this is the non aviation forum, you are awarded with the cat of the day :

cheers,

707, probably a 'wonker', or a 'tasser'

Oh really? Maybe everyone from the U.S. should just ignore you, I think. If you want to play that way, my friend.

And what does GWB have to do with ignoring any replies from the U.S. Is Mr. Bush a user on here?

I'd like to say it's been nice knowing you, but since I've never run into, I can't say that, and I doubt I'll ever run into you again anyways.

Don´t think so. Still too coherent.  Wink/being sarcastic

The combination ideological extremism and plain old bitterness would fit much more with Paul "The Venomous Mouse" Wolfowitz! Big grin

Don't leave us in suspense, TwinPioneer - go on, dish the dirt, name names ! Let the slagging begin. If you don't want to sully A.net with such vicious diatribes, go to Eurowhiners.net - its a great place to vent against, well, pretty much everyone.

Wonker, wankers, twats and slaggers??

Sure makes me wish that I had grown up in the UK where I could have learned such colorful words. But, alas, the curse of the inferior USA education system...must be GWB's fault, eh?

I guess if you're that bent out of shape over being told-off by someone your junior, you may indeed be in the wrong place. Here on A.net, all are equal. Some just more equal than others!  Nuts

Side note to 707: Love the Cats!! Where can we see more??

Regards to all the W,W,T & S,

Mike

First let me say that I agree that having people tell you that your thread may have been posted before is a pain in the patootie.

Now to the rest of your thread...

... I have to say that it may take some time for new people to become one of the "family" so to speak since takes time for both the old timers and the yourself to get to know each other. As with people in the "real world" some of the people I like and respect the most here were the same people I disliked when I first joined.

Also if you have a problem with another member please try to email us (the mods) we all see the emails and someone will look into your question. I personally keep my email link open in my profile for anyone to contact me personally with. I can not say that we will do whatever you ask mod wise but someone will look into things.

In regards to post deletions, try not to let them bother you too much we all have had deletions (especially when new to site and still learning the ropes so to speak). If you are willing to put in the time to post more here I hope we all can enjoy each others opinions and have friendly yet heated debates.

IHAP

John, don't leave by yourself, take Randy too. Sounds like you could keep each other company.

We've all felt this way occasionally...especially when one of our posts are deleted for questionable reasons.

Just shake it off and keep on responding. Don't let the "wonkers" win by achieving exactly what they intended...getting a response.
