A South Carolina woman who sued her local city council to drop the name Jesus Christ from its pre-meeting prayer from her neighbors. Darla Wynne, a Wiccan priestess, has had her home vandalized 10 times in the past year. She's been repeatedly threatened on the street, and was mailed a booklet entitled "Thou Shalt Not Suffer a Witch To Live." Last week, Wynne came home to find her pet parrot with its head chopped off and heart cut out. A note read, "You're next!"

The thing that "Christians" who do things like this seem to forget is that Jesus died for the sins of ALL mankind -- and that their best attitude toward this woman would be to use the very spiritual weapon which she protests - prayer. They should be praying for her and extending the love, peace, and mercy of Christ which she doesn't seem to understand.

[edit] and I'm not saying they should pray out on the sidewalk in front of her house, either. Pray privately, love and care gently in public.

This is funny? More like an example of how dangerous uncontrolled religious fundamentalism can be.

I know you have funnier stories than this, Reese.  Smile
