Hi there,

Just out of bordem/curiosity really.

Anyone like her music?

I enjoy listening to some of her music, "With You" is one of my favourites.

She has a lovely voice and looks that would kill! She's a perfect package!

Cheers all,

Regards,

Justin  Smile

PS: Because I enjoy her music, doesn't mean I'm a babba stabba!

She's amazing. One of few very gifted singers that also manage to make it big.

Everything about her is amazing, especially her husband.

Jessica Simpson is best enjoyed with the TV on mute.  Big grin

her singing is ok. though it has gotten better over the years, and will continue to do so i think.

she also seems alright, after seeing her each week on "newlyweds"

She is very attractive compared to B. Spears and Aguilera.
But there is only one song that I really like from her. And that is I wanna love you forever.
I heard that she has got her own TV show now. Is that true?

Did you see him laughing? I agree, she is good at what she does.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I've meet houseplants and some inanimate objects that I could likely carry on more intelligent conversations with than Jessica.

Her music is ok, at least in terms of bubble gum pop music. She is a decent vocalist, but it isn't like she is a great song writer or all that gifted creatively. At least Britney and Christina have evolved quite a bit since their debuts. Jessica really hasn't.

Because of this I would hasten to call her a "total package." While she has a pretty good face and a nice top shelf, she doesn't have much else going on.

If you want to talk about young female musicians then perhaps you need to look at Norah Jones if you are trying to find a "total package."

Norah Jones is another one, she has an amazing voice and produces some very good songs.

One of hers that I like right now is, "I've got to see you again". That is a cracking song!

I know Jessica isn't the most intelligent of people as well, but she can't help it!  Wink/being sarcastic

I think she seems like a great person, very nice etc... Great looking and she has alot of singing talent.

She is not the brightest lightbulb in the box, but I think that fits her well. I'd like to meet her and see how she is in person.

If you can carry on a conversation with a plant, I dont think its the person/thing you are talking to that has a lack of intellect...

 Laugh out loud

Im kidding of course

She has an ok voice....not bad looking by any means in my opinion.

With two young daughters at home, I get to hear a good deal of "What's HOT" in music, these days. Now I know how my Dad felt when I used to crank up ELO, back in the 70's. Yeeeech!!!

But, back to Jessica Simpson. My girls have none of her music, and don't even talk about her. They had some "Brittany Spears" stuff a while back, but I guess she's fallen out of favor with my two. I've seen that "Newlywed's" show on MTV, and agree she's mighty easy on the eyes, but the "dumb blonde" act gets a little old, fast.

She'll always be #3 in the young female pop trifecta, I think. Right behind Christina Aguillara, and B. Spears....

Ashlee sounds like she's singing with a mouthful of gravel, in my opinion.

If she wasn't -trying- to be so different (doesn't want to be compared to Jessica), she would be quite pretty, in my opinion.

Simpson is a no-talent hack, that can sing about as good as almost any woman in their own shower. She's a bleach blonde, fake titted, media creation with the IQ of a piece of burnt toast.

And her "music" if you want to call it that, is predicated on vapid bubble-gum pop bullshit that has one demographic only. Style over substance, just like most pop music today.

Her 15 minutes are ticking away....

While she may look good, I am not a fan of her manufactured pop music. I think her remake of "Take My Breath Away" also sucked.

I'm sure she now does it intentionally, but someone with an "intellect" like hers is NOT at all appealing to me.

POSITIVES:
  • knows her roll and sticks to it, doesn't pretend to be what she's not/has no idea about (i.e., political activist)
  • pretty clean, mostly child-safe
  • funny

    NEGATIVES:
  • painfully, immeasurably, indescribably stupid...
  • butchered Take My Breath Away
