Yes, that's right, by spending some time doing school work with 2 of my jewish buddies, and then later my Palestinian/Arab/Muslim buddies and decided to "experiment" so to speak.
This is what I did:
First, I spent time with 2 extremely jewish people. When I brought up the whole Israli/Palestinian conflict, they said that it was stupid for either side to attack, and that they didn't hate all arabs/muslims/palestinians, but only hated those who would not leave them and their country in peace (Suicide bombings/threats/war/militia)...
Late in the week, I found myself attending the start of this *successful minorities* group that was beginning to take shape in our school, later, I went out with a Pakistani kid I know, we went to do some homework in the library and later were joined by his sister, then some classmates who were from Pakistan (3 people) and Sauid arabia(1 person) as well as some other guy who was muslim, unfortunately I don't remember where he was originally from... We were a little loud, so the Librarian asked us to quiet down a bit, so we did, and when the lady left, the kid began calling her a *jew-bag*... Later when we were joined by the kid's friends, they began telling stories how they would throw Yamachas (please correct my spelling) at the feet of jewish people as they walked by. They also told a story where their cars *simultaneously* died and blocked the entire street leading from our school (aboiut 200-300 cars waiting to leave) wearing Yamachas, they went outside their cars and opened the trunk and stood for 5 or 10 minutes looking at the engine pretending to try and fix the car. They also were talking about their religion and how they were a religion of peace, and yet again the Librarian came over because we were being too loud, and when she left another kid began saying how *somebody should kill that jew*... Of course, me being jewish (by heritage, I'm not religious) I was surprised. They also began talking how extremism is stupid and that the Quaran is a peaceful book and that hating others just because of where they live or what they are is wrong... And yet again they made fun of jews and this time women, and I saw that this is done on a regular basis because the sister wouldn't even say a word about the fact that her brother was making fun of women and how they should stay home and act as housewife...
Suddenly, it hit me. The reason why the conflict won't end, isn't because of recruitment from the terrorist groups, it's mostly because of the mentality that the parents engrave in the child's head, that Israel is wrong, and that being Jewish is wrong, and that being a Muslim and following the Quaran is the only way to live life.
Decide for yourself, I already have. This conflict won't end not only because of extremists, but also because of the people with the mentality that Israel is bad, and Jews are bad, yet not enough power to either stop the suicide bombers/militias, or not enough power or extremism to go blow themselves up.
I'd like to elect a president that has a Higher IQ than a retarted ant.

Come live in Europe... Believe me they think that way.. Let's see what happens Thursday when the Law here in France starts that forbids the Muslims to wear their scarfs. I'm sure all hell will break loose...

Don't be naive. People that age around the world have a right to vote. I would expect them to have a mind of their own too.
It all comes down to education. Though, there is a difference between education at home and education at school. I don't think anybody has the right interfere in that but I would expect parents not to educate their children to hatred.
Look at the Palestinian text books. That the whole of Israel is placed where Palestine should be. The students are taught that Israelis belong in the Mediterranean Sea. They are taught to hate. When I was a student, I was not educated in that way. I truly believe that Israeli school do not use that method of education either. This is not the topic of the thread, I'm aware of that. But I had to mention the above.
