I know she's often been a bit out there with her sense of style, but whatever is the girl thinking with this one?

I'd love to see you say that to Serena's face! That "Ho" would beat your ass!

She is audacious. She is powerful. She talks it and she walks it. So she has decided to shake things up - why not?

Never would be able to get away with it at Wimbledon.

White clothing is a requirement to play there right?

I'm not saying anything about her power or abilities to beat me up. In fact, I'm sure she could beat me to a pulp without too much effort - have you seen her shoulders!?

However, with that outfit on, she won't look too out of place on a street corner. Luv2fly is bang on about money having nothing to do with class.

Jasepl,

She would F___ you up totally Big grin
But I do agree. That kind of outfits belongs to the nightlife and not on a tennis court. But calling her a HO is a little bit out of line  Big grin

Totally out of line. Serena can do whatever she wants.

Anyone see Andy Roddick's new shirt? The dude looks like a poster child for a dairy farm steering committee.

Of course she would. And I wouldn't even pretend to put up a fight... Maybe if I don't resist, she'll go easy on me!

As for calling her a ho, I didn't. What I'm saying is with that outfit on, she won't look too out of place on a street corner. Wearing something a ho would doesn't make you one too.

I did QI and it says "Serena's US Open Outfit: Crack Ho Chic" Which, to me at least, means fashion "inspired" by something crack hos would wear. Just like they had "Heroin Chic" etc etc

The bottom line is that the girl can play in her panties and a string of pookah shells if she wins.

WINS.

The William sisters have been so busy dolling up, and going to parties and trying to be uber fabu, that they've forgotten why people are interested in them in the first place - because they kick(ed) ass when they played tennis, not because they showed up looking like hos that ex-DC mayor Marion Barry would have rejected.

True. And while both sisters start out being remarkably gracious in defeat, they can't help throwing in one comment during the post-match press conference to ruin it all and come off looking like sore losers.

I don't think Jaspel meant 'ho' in that sense either...

And my money would be on Serena kicking his ass too.

But as for 'crack'.. Jaspel..you need to get out more...If only crack ho's looked that good... the $5000-a-night hookers (ala Charlie Sheen) would result to AK-47 warfare the wipe out the competition.

Now for getting out more....What she's wearing in that photo is what gets girls 'past the velvet rope' lighting quick at any A-List nightclub these days. Granted, she's on the tennis court wearing this...I'm sure it caused a rippling stir in the stands... but this is also the same crowd that a visible G-string would send half of them into full cardiac arrest!

But being A-List wealthy let's you get awat with wild shit.

Shes on drugs, lmao. Now I remember why people are annoying. I had almost forgot.

And for all of you calling her a crack whore, a Marion Berry reject, saying she is over the top etc, you ar failing to realize that she is a master of self promotion. She gets people to talk about her. She gets and keeps people interested in her. Even if you guys are talking crap, you are still interested enough to talk about her. Joke's on you.

And I like her. She is a solid tennis player (although I would like to see her put more effort into improving her game), hasn't done anything stupid (yet), looks good enough for me, and she is an injection of excitement into an otherwise fairly dull sport. Dog her out, what should she care while she laughs all the way to the bank.

LOL! Yep, as everywhere, there's a massive double standard in tennis too. I'm not sure if a lesser tennis player could have got away with that outfit. Whatever -chic one decides to call it, it isn't exactly flattering though, is it?

Usairways757,

Ahh.... Im not to sure about that. John Mcenroe put up a good show to.  Big thumbs up

But for female tennis I agree with you. We never had a character like the
Williams sisters in my life time. But that dress she wears on the picture above is maybe a little bit too much.
