Synchronized Diving - Bush/Cheney V. Kerry/Edwards

In honor of the Olympics... who do you thing would win? I'd have to go with Bush/Cheney. Although Bush is an idiot, he has somehow learned to follow directions and will do whatever Cheney tells him to do. Kerry and Edwards, on the other hand, will most likely be too turned on by the sight of the other in a speedo to perform.

How do you feel and why?

WellHung, again I think you are wrong. As a distinguished naval officer who served 4 months in 'nam, JFK is obviously much more comfortable in the water than GWB.

I do believe Dick Cheney's age an experience help him but the beer belly would just not allow for as good an entry into the water as John Edwards could generate. In synchronized diving I think the Kerry / Edwards team is far superior to the Bush / Cheney team. In fact, the only better team would be Kerry / Kennedy (Ted). We all know how much experience Teddy has dunking it into the water.

But Teddy would have his dive stricken from the records and attempt to have anything related to it supressed. Of course, a judge would never rule on his dive. Not very conducive to a high score.

Ah, I see, you're saying that Teddy would adopt the Korean Gymnastics rule.

I believe in order to stave off accusations about the credibility of his dive and to stop an investigation about whether he really deserved the score although he did complete the dive, it is a necessity.

You raise an interesting issue - would any dispute go to the Florida Supreme Court or to the Court of International Sports Arbitriation?

I suppose it would depend on who has more friends on the committee running the event and which group would give would give a more favorable ruling.

Kerry can't synchronize his stand on the issues, let alone a dive.

The only dive Kerry can execute is in the polls. I give him a "10" for his dive in today's TIME poll.
