I had a website (cant put the URL or this topic will be deleted) and now I have the same website at a different host. How can I get it so when someone types in the old URL it will take them to the new one?

You usually need to contact the web hosting service that you have now and ask that your DNS records be updated (unless they let you do this yourself in which case I can kind of guide you through that). It's just a matter of letting the DNS servers around the world know that the URL points to a different IP address.
