Although I'm not a true MGoBlue fanatic, I always try to take in this season-opening circus and, of course, must wear Maize'nBlue to the local pub.

Who are your favorites on this perpetual rivalry? Any score predictions?
U of M = 31
Notre Dame= 20

Won't predict a score, but no way do the candleburners win this one.

Well the season opening circus was last week in the 43-10 spanking that U of M gave to Miami (OH). This week touchdown Jesus won't even be able to help the Dame as the deal with the maize and Blue.

Nice Trip Report!!! Great Pics, thanks for posting!!!! B747Forever

That game is going to be like watching paint dry, IMHO.

I'd rather watch a re-broadcast of a high school football game than see the putrid ND Irish go out and embarrass themselves. Ugh.

You guys just had to get cocky didn't you? The last thing we Michigan fans can afford to do this year is get cocky. After all, it is 21-12 with only 7 minutes left. If we don't do something fast and stop screwing up Michigan is done for this time.

Looks like Notre Dame won this one.

Good game though. Lots of hard hits.

Stunning upset...that may have saved Tyrone Willingham's job in the long term if ND has at least a half decent season...

Nicely done Michigan, way to make everyone think after a couple of semi-decent years, you guys were finally back. And today, only the 2nd game of the season you prove that you arent.  Laugh out loud

The Irish pulled off a much needed upset to bring hope back to the season after last year's mediocre season. This weekend was my first time back on campus since I graduated ND in May and it couldn't have been a more perfect weekend to go back: perfect weather, seeing most of my good college friends, and watching ND tear apart UM.

Time to see if the Irish can keep it up. Darius Walker tore it up (2 touchdowns and over 100 rushing yards isn't bad for a true freshmen's debut game) so let's see what he can do in the upcoming games.

Nice after-the-fact analysis guys (later replies) and nice big-time predictions before the game (me, too).

I also lost dollars large on betting against my house-payment-guaranteed Detroit Lions as losers, too. Hmmm...some chick running the nightshift at the local saloon needs a sweeper/porter. Guess that'll be me for a few weeks. She's got nice teets, though. Regards...Jack
