It's not over until it's over - BUT the fact that Kerry's lead is pretty slim in states that are historically Democrat strongholds doesn't look good for him.

Things can always change though...so while I'm hopeful Bush will win in November, I'm choosing not to tempt fate by prematurely declaring victory.  Big grin

The election isn't over until late night on November 2nd. However, the polls are showing Kerry has a very large problem.

About the pollster, SurveyUSA has been shown to be fairly unbiss, but they've had a few duds which is expected in polling. Excluding their outlier polls, most tend to have a balanced sample of Democrats, Republicans, Independents/Third Parties and not bias toward the Democrats like ARG tends to do.

I love it. DC10Guy has shown his hand too soon. Now, regardless of the outcome of the election, it's because of "Bush's illegal hold."

Ladies and Gentlemen we have a winner - DC10Guy unwittingly became the first poster on a.net to start complaining about the outcome of the 2004 election before a single vote was cast. (What does that tell you about the confidence of the left?)

Dude aren't you worried about the Black helicopters that follow you around?

As an article (I think in National Review Online) said a few months ago:

In the liberal mindset:

If Bush loses the election it is a rejection of his policies

If he wins the election, he stole it.

I'm all for BUSH BEING REELECTED...FOUR MORE YEARS!

But...in all seriousness...there's 48 some days yet to go, and that's light years away in political terms...anything can happen in that timeframe. My concern is that if the terrorists think Bush will win, they will try to strike. If Iraq goes downhill REALLY fast, i.e. if Saddam is somehow freed by a group of insurgents, Bush's fortunes can turn in a New York minute...  Sad

My wife, my 19 year old son and me will all show up and vote for Kerry .... But your right it ain't much use .... Bush & Co. ( he's too stupid to do anything but say what he's told) has a huge well organized cash rich machine. It will be impossible for Kerry to win .... But there is a chance so I will vote. It will be a sad day for the world when he re-seizes power ....

Of course Bush needs to be up by at least 5% to counter the voter fraud in Philly. In 2000 multiple (Democrat) precincts had 125% voter turnout.
