When did they start? I'm in LA right now and it's hot and the air is damn still, although 2 nights ago it was cold and windy. Well, looks like I'll have a lot to look forward* to when I go home this weekend.

You know whenever we get like a billionth of an inch...basically just more mist than actual rain, every freeway grinds to a screeching halt, and just the 91 alone, between the 15 and the 55 will have 300 "weather related accidents" on it.
It must drive visitors (no pun intended) from Oregon and Seattle NUTS to see this. They get rain 49 weeks a year. They're used to it.

yeah, my buddy down in Rancho C (also originaly from OR) told me about them. But when we get a dusting of snow/sleet/ice up here everyone jumps in their SUVs and finds out the hard way that 4WD has no effect on your stopping abilities going downhill. I showed the footage from the news to my michigan buddy and he cracked up.
