To be honest I am not going to predict a winner on this one.

Cheney and Edwards are both accomplished politicians/lawyers

And Cheney clearly doesn't have Bush's speech impediment.

It will be interesting as Cheney is much better when it comes to talking with out a script that Bush is.

Cheney is going to eat Edwards alive. Cheney is a dynamic public speaker and Edwards is nothing but an empty suit. Edwards is also inexperienced and has very little to stand on.

Sorry to say this but Cheney is much more jarring to the eyes and ears than Edwards.

One question - will Cheney's portion of the debate be relayed by satellite as Cheney sits in an "undisclosed location?"

Perhaps Cheney should sit on top of some barrels of $5 per gallon diesel fuel and $32 sheets of plywood, such as those used to bilk the American taxpayer when he was head of Halliburton (dollar figures are estimates, go look it up yourself, I'm busy, but not too busy to toss in a quick opinion).

The way I see it, while Cheney is a good speaker and a smart man, there are many more smoking guns that the Moderator can fire at Cheney than at Edwards. I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

I fully expect the VP debate to be the more entertaining, "red meat" of them all.

It seems like in this race so far, the VP's have been used as the attack dogs. It going to be fun to see the sparks fly here, I hope I'm not disappointed.

Personally, I believe Dick has HUGE potential to blow his top. (Hmmm that sounds dirty) He just strikes me as a nasty little man, and that juxtaposed against the younger, beaming Edwards is a point in the Dems favor.

Dick will have to go after Edward's inexperience, no question, because when it comes down to it, that's all he has over him. Edwards is optimistic, positive (the exact opposite impressions I get off of Dick) and he's proven he isn't afraid, when challenged, to fight back. I can almost see Dick scowling at Edwards, muttering "stupid little prick" under his breath.

I really hope they take the gloves off in this one.
