Ok....I could not wait this week. I am completely pissed about the Bulldogs but thats another thread someplace.

The Falcons are playing the Lions today, and I really hope we bring our "A" game because this weeks opponents are up and coming just like we are. Harrington is going to be a really good quarterback, and their team has been playing like a TEAM.

The good news is our team has been doing the same thing and we have Mike Vick plus a defence that has been playing large and mean. I am looking for a great game here at the Dome.

The Browns show again why Butch Davis needs to leave: after all this time, he still has amassed almost no talent on this team. The offensive line is still porous; the secondary is slow; the defensive line can't get consistent pressure on the QB. The 34-23 score wasn't as indicative of how one-sided it was.

Oh, and any naysayers of Ben Rothleisberger, that he wans't good enough, you can stow it. The guy will be Pittsburg's quarterback for the next decade, and he'll win a Super Bowl ring before the Browns even get a sniff at the Super Bowl.

Get rid of Butchie, Mr. Lerner. After the season, ask permission from the Ravens to talk to Ozzie Newsome to run the operation, and go from there.

The Patriots won consecutive game #19 A NEW NFL RECORD!. The Miami defense was pretty good, but they literally don't have an offense and the Pats exploited all their mistakes.

Eagles have a bye this week but I've got to hand it to the Giants, they are looking more and more impressive as the season goes on...if they keep it up, Coughlin should be the Coach of the Year IMO...

Do you think it would be possible for the Detroit Lions to play all of their remaining 12 games on the road??? They are now 2 for 2 this season on the road!!....go figure. Beat the Falcons today in Atlanta, 17-10, and are now 3-1. Somebody please wake me up.

Next week.....the Packers at home.....uh oh.

I told you so. The Giants are for real. They will have a bye next week and then will be tested again when they come back. Then we will know for sure.

Oh, for God's sake!! I jinxed us by jumping the gun. We lost the lead and then pissed away the three points before the half.

Our defence did better than the offence but we got beat because we turned the ball over.

We have to improve in that area/

Well I lost the game for my team because I felt the need to throw a penalty flag downfield. Not only did I get called for a false start, but also an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for throwing a penalty flag.

And as Falcon already discussed, the Browns are, as they should be, property of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Big Ben will definitely develop into a fine QB. Glad to see that that draft pick paid off for the Steelers. Next week against Dallas, I think Big Ben will have to watch out a little bit better in the INT department.

Yeah, talk about the Seahawks f-ing up. What was it? The Rams scored something like 24 points in the last 8 minutes? I was flipping between the Hawks game but mostly watching the Broncos. I couldn't believe that they gave it up.

Now the Broncos, it was going to be close, and like Usairways said, Willig pretty much ruined it for the cats. I'm sure that despite the false start, its only five more yards, and Kasy still would've been able to nail it and tie the game up. However, cooler heads prevailed.

How 'bout Droughns though? Man, he had a good day. He's not easy to stop like how Griffin is. 193 yards on the ground and 19 in the air, plus a td. Not bad for a backup fullback, but he used to be a tailback though. I might like to see him start a few more. Good to see the Broncos running game prevail again.

EDIT: Also, I just read that DeShaun Foster broke his collarbone in the Broncos-Panthers game. Can't be good news for the Panthers running game, even though Davis should be back sometime soon.

The Giants as a wild card at 15-1. What is this world coming to? But I guess they have a shot if they beat Philadephia by 11 points. I'll pick the score of that game now. Giants win 27-10.

The Giants aren't going to beat the Eagles, Blackbird. Reverse that score, and you might have that right.

I think what we need on here is to post bets what week the Patriots are finally going to lose this year. Not for money, but just friendly takes on that subject.  Smile

So no 16-0 for the Seagulls L-188?

Buffalo sucked as usual. And Ben Rothleisberger would have looked great in a Buffalo uni. Instead Bledsoe still is taking snaps. Welcome to 2-14...oh and a great draft pic for the Cowboys.....

Big Ben would have looked good in a lot of uni's KROC, the Browns included, although with that porous offensive line they have, he might be dead by now.

The wariness that 11 other teams had for a QB from the MAC has been a Godsend for the Steelers. This guy has more talent than Manning or Rivers, and he'll be an All-PRo for years for the Steelers.

I'll agree with that, Falcon. I think Roethlisberger has the ability to be the franchise player that Bradshaw once was...which is good considering we haven't had a real QB (real meaning consistent as opposed to, for instance, Kordell Stewart) since Bradshaw, IMO.

As for the other two QBs drafted in the first round, statistically, one of them's not going to live up to expectations. My money's on Eli, if for no other reason due to his behavior at the NFL Draft. He didn't want to play for the Chargers because Daddy was scared that they might not be good enough to showcase Eli's talent? The look on his face here earned him my dislike even more than before.

Geeze, the Lions didn't even need the 7 points that The Book gave them. The only thing consistent about this team is inconsistency.

Congrats to the Pats for their #19, BTW. Regards...Jack

I was in downtown Indianapolis at the Greyhound bus station waiting for my bus to head back to school. The RCA dome is bascially two blocks away, and all I could hear was a consistent roar coming from that direction. Well when I headed back I found out that Indianapolis soundly thumped the Raiders, and that Peyton Manning had another pretty game to show for it.
