I just rememberd that when I was younger I used to love sitting in front of the washing machine watching the laundry go round and round for the roughly 2 hours it took to wash it. I stopped about 8 years ago, I still can't believe I was able to this. I found it to be so intersting. I especially love the spin, it sounds like a jet! On the plus side, other than wasting my time staring through a glass hole, I learned a lot about doing laundry. When we moved from Yugoslavia to Canada though, I was unpleasantly suprised to see these top loading "washing machines", which I dislike to this day.

Do you have unusual stuff to share simmilar to this?

Hey JAT...................

What kind of washer did you have? TWO hours to do just 1 load? Holy waste-of-time! Mine only takes 30 minutes or so.

Watching grass grow can be quite enjoyable on a lazy day, don't you think? Or perhaps watching bread become moldy (that's another favorite)!

Good day.  Big thumbs up

When I was younger, I'd put out a container underneath a leak in our eaves trough (sp?) when it rained.

What's funny about this is that I could've put the container out anywhere else, and collected A LOT more rain. But no, I had to put it under that one leaky spot...

(of course, this doesn't address *why* I'm collecting the rain in the first place...  Smile/happy/getting dizzy )

Well, I've already mentioned that I put peanut butter in my oatmeal, can't eat it without it. I also LOVE the smell of an airconditioner (a window unit). I could stand in front of one for hours and just smell it! I'm sure there are other things, but I can't think of them. My dad does a lot of weird stuff. He shifts his car, and it's an automatic, and constantly taps his rearview mirrow when he drives. I think he's obsessive-compulsive. Riding in the car with him for an hour could drive a person crazy.

I used to think the brain is the most fascinating part of my body. But, hey, who is telling me that?

I watch plane after plane do pushback procedures at the airport and I never get tired of it. I also go into the airport employee lot and climb on top of a sticky old dumpster just so I can get shots of planes taxiing toward the fence head on without obstructions.

I used to have this obsession with vacum cleaners, which now I could care less about. I also used to sit on top of the washer and open and close the door. I did a lot of weird stuff when I was little.

lol you lot do such funny stuff!

Lets see what i did, i know i did alot of crazy stuff when i was young.

When i sleep, i put my right arm under my pillow and my left arm i pull the cover underneath itself (weird i know!).

I don't have Butter/Margarine on my sandwiches, and i call sandwiches buttys  Big grin

I collect loads of crap, when i am chucking stuff away i always look at something and say "I might need that" and then throw the magic eye picture back in the cupboard.

Can't think of anything really crazy, i pick up accents very very very quickly, and often mimic people.

When I want to sneeze, I try not to, because once i took a hankie when I felt like the sneeze was coming, and as I inhaled, the hankie stuck in my throat and I almost choked to death. So, I try to hold my breath to avoid sneezing in public without a hankie and I have tears in my eyes and I get a reddish color on my face and everyone says it looks weird...

When I was little, I was obsessed with stuffed animals, and so I would pretend that the animals were real and have a zoo. Also, when I was less than 5 years old, I remember stripping down to my underwear, and putting a stuffed animal in my pants and pretended to be a kangaroo.
