I have a couple of problems with windows XP. I had 2000 for 3 years. I reformatted my computer and decided to go XP. However, some stuff about it is annoying and I don't know how to change it. First of all, I have several folders where I can't arrange stuff by date but I really need to. How can I do that? Second, whenever I open stuff in a new window in Internet explorer it opens it in a little 1x1 inch window that I must maximize before I view. This really annoys me. How can I make it open a full maximized new window? Thanks

DON'T GO LINUX!!!!
I tried it. It's a pain in the ass. The Live CDs are ok, but they're just that CDs!
Mandrake's RPM based system (and all RPM based systems) means you have to keep updating your libraries everytime you want to install a new program, and watch out, because by doing so you might disable another program which needed those old libraries. Slackware is a pain in the ass to configure, and if you're computer is for home or business, and your business isn't computer configurations, and you're not a computer geek... stick to windows. I would try other distribtions, but i'm don't have the time to be messing around... I've watsed enough time.
Linux may be great, but why pain yourself through all that I've gone through since July. You're gonna have to keep Windows around anyway just to run the monopolized windows based programs.
I was once a believer in the linux revolution. Today, I say:
or MAC, w/e.
If you really want to do it, you will find a way; if you don't, you'll make excuses.
