I'm not a believer that ads such as this are very effective -- they are too narrowly focused on something and not many facts to vote on. The Bush campaign could probably have spent their money and energy a bit better by making another ad instead of this.

Of course it wasn't. It was paid for by one of those 527 groups exploiting a loophole in the McCain-Feingold act which allows soft money contributions to pour into the campaign through the back door. You can also be sure the Bush campaign knew about it and at least tacitly supported it.
Using human tragedy to push a political agenda disgusting and outrageous. It's little more than a sad commentary on how low this campaign has sunk.

Who'd wanna go to one of those?? We all know he served in Vietnam, and we know he doesn't think this is the right war at the right time . If you know that there's really not much going on at his rallies

Hey 747....it looks like your catching on. When you're old enough to vote (unless your drafted before then) we can count on your support. Those Liberal views of yours are wonderful!

I wouldn't want to go to ANY presidential rally... but what's going on at the Bush rallies? Is it one big comfortfest or does he lie first, then proceed to the comfort phase? Lord knows with what he's done the past 4 years, a lot of people need a lot of comforting.
