Hello all,

This is a very short, and maybe geeky question but... I am going to St Lucia in February, and was wondering, do you get a stamp in your passport when you go there? I hold a British passport. I have just got a new one and so it looks a bare compared to my old one.

Thanks

Well you get 2 when you go to Antigua, so I would imagine that you would get one in UVF.

But I am going there in November, although it is on a cruise, so I shall let you know.

I stopped in St. Lucia while on a cruise, and the personnel at the port gladly stamped my passport when I brought it to them and asked for one.

I know in certain islands, you can choose to have your passport stamped or not. I think this only applies to US and UK citizens though.

Just checked and for some reason St. Lucia never stamped mine. I started asking for passport stamps in the last year, never knowing when it would be my last visit to one of the islands.

Most of them will stamp if you ask. In my limited experience, the only island that routinely stamped my passport was Aruba. They practically filled it up before they started to recognize me and quit stamping.

Yes, for sure you can get it, if not at the airport then go find a local immigration office and they will do it there for sure...

That could be said of taxis and buses just about anywhere in the Caribbean. The big trick is, you just don't care. That is the only way to endure the ride.
