Your basing your vote on a Presidential candidate on his crazy speaks-before-she-thinks wife?

Being repressed has nothing to do with it, she represents the Untied States. She therfore has a certain demonor and report to meet while in the public eye. The first lady represents someone who teaches/represents values and morals. If Teresa wants to be in this role she must begin to act the part. In all honesty this plays to my party's favor, so Party on Teresa!

Since 80% of Republicans and 70% of Democrats believe in God, I don't see why the god-nazi comment is necessary. We are a religious nation so what. I haven't went to church in 20 years but I honor people's right to worship a higher power. It's seperation from church and state not seperation from god!

Maybe we just differ as nations on the subject.

Would holding an M-16 in one hand and the Bible in the other make her the right role model for the Republicans???

Has nothing to do with party affiliation but the role of the first lady. BTW we have a right to bare arms and hold bibles but I wouldn't suggest doing both at the sametime.

As long as I can carry my gun and my Torah, i'm happy. Not quite as easy as the gun and bible though, considering a torah is about 30-40 lbs and takes 2 hands.

Frankly, I think it is time we got away from the "public figure, role model" stuff, the First lady represents the wife of the President nothing more nothing less, since she really has no role in government, she can be whatever she wants and whatever floats the president's boat (or anything else).

And also frankly, I'm not looking for moral lessons from my elected leaders because I can't imagine anyone less qualified to give them!!!!!

Leave that to the parents, priests, imams, rabbis, reverands, gurus, or whatever.

A president's role is to run the government. Period.
