Ok, here we go again. The Falcons are going to be tested today in KC, and I think we have an opportunity to make a good showing against a Chiefs team that is really due a win, and wants it bad in front of their very vocal fans. If we win this one, there may be fewer questions about our quality next week, both within and without this city. I think we have the best combination of high quality coaching and talent that we have had since Bart/Andrews et al.
Oh, and as far as Browns v. Philly this week. I'd like to see the Browns win just so Garcia can shut Owens up for a minute. A guy with that much talent (Owens) and personality (his interview on HBO's Inside Sports last week was moving) should not spend so much time badmouthing other players. Between that and his remarks concerning race and talent (which would have gotten a white player fired and sent in front of a congressional investigation as well as psych evals) were uncalled for and took away from the sport.

EAGLES WIN!!!!! So there I was...dressed in my #2 David Akers Eagles Road jersey, Eagles hat, and pacing my room with my Eagles throw blanket draped like a cape on me, listening to the online radio broadcast as Akers went for the win in OT...Merrill Reese (the Eagles' radio play-by-play caller) did his usual kick call..."The ball is spotted, the kick is away, and it is...(dramatic pause while the ball travels through the air)....GOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!"
Akers is the best kicker in the NFC for a reason, and this is it...props to the Browns though for a hard-fought game, it was a lot closer than what I thought it would be...

Well, if the Browns had a coach with any imagination, they might have pulled this one off. 4th and 1 at midfield in OT. You're the underdog, and you know McNabb is waiting for another chance. Do you go for it, or do you punt it?
The Browns punted, and 1 play later, a McNabb run has the ball back exactly where the Browns punted it from.
I don't think Butch Davis has ever done anything, with the game on the line, that was remotely out of the ordinary. But he's so unimaginative, that it doesn't cross his mind.
I just watched the Pats with like :07 to go in the first half forsake a field goal, and go for a touchdown instead, and they got it. Maybe Butchie might learn to sack up like that one of these weeks.

The Browns should have ran it on that 4th and 1... the Eagles haven't been able to stop the Browns on the ground ALL DAY long! The Browns had them on the ropes and let them get away. I prefer the Eagles...but Andy Reid a 'defense coach'...should be a shamed of himself with his defense playing the way they did today!
But what really has me completely miffed today is my fav coach Bill Parcells and the worthless Cowboys! WTF is he thinking??? This time last year with Quincy Carter there was no way they were as bad as they are this year... they are horrible! I have to agree with Chris Collingsworth's assesment... 'Out of the years I've seen Parcells coach... "I have never seen his team unravel as quickly as this..." He and Testaverde were at the best when they were at the Jets..but that was then, Bill you can relieve the past dude... get f*n rid of Testaverde and get someone out there who wants to play! Fuck!!! Carter is somewhere laughing his ass off right now.

Hey Garnett! You remembered! Nice to get a nod seeing as I'm a lady in the midst of a male-dominated sport...
Well, well, well... I thought this was going to be a blowout when we were down 21-10... Visions of 40-17 in my head... But we fought the good fight and nearly won it. We held our own against one of "the best."
T.O. must be drinking a lot of Gatorade to make up for all that sweating. For all of his showboating, he almost had to *eat* that sign he tore down.

Vikings 20, Titans 3. And they did it all without Randy Moss! If he was in the game we would have had at least one more TD. But that's the first time I can remember in a while (if at all) that the Vikes kept anyone out of the end zone.

US333, watching the 49ers fall apart? How about the Cardinals falling apart on them, and giving them their only win of the season.
Then theres today when the Cardinals went out and played the way they should, and beat Seattle 25-17. Emmit ran for 100+ and a TD, the defense forced 4 int's, and our kicker hit 3 fg's from 50+. End result, 2-4. Would be 3-3 if not for aforementioned choking to the 49ers.

I'm still waiting for tomorrow night. I'm excited to see Droughns against Cincy's weak rush D. WTF happened with Seattle? I didn't tune into it because I thought it'd be ok, and my buddy wanted to watch the Packers game and the NE game at the same time.
Fins win though! Good for them, the needed it, especially at home. I'll add more tomorrow night after my boys go and mess up the cats...
