Well I like Linkin Park. I saw them in concert last November, absolutely fantastic!! People concentrate on image too much. Most of the people who criticise them have probably never heard the band's music!
I actually remember that week that I saw them very well, because this was my itenerary:
Friday: Gig - All American Rejects at Astoria, London
Saturday: Gig - Linkin Park at Wembley Arena, London
Thursday: Gig - Muse at Wembley Area, London

Not a Linkin Park fan, and the only song of theirs that I thought was anything approaching good was being "One step closer to the edge".
My musical tastes are somewhat heavier, stuff such as Metallica, Slayer, Motorhead, Dark Throne, Obituary, etc.

L.P. are good but not great, I mean yes the music is origional, but ive found it to be repetitive throughout all 3 albums theyve done.
If you like L.P. Though, be sure to check out Spineshank there pretty good, as for Muse doesnt quite "cut it" with me but Newborn is great.

They're alright. I liked a lot of their stuff on Hybrid Theory but after that, all their stuff sounds the same to me, especially their newer tracks which become annoying fast. Although I admit I like Session, it's a weird track but I like it since it reminds me of flying. But other than that, I don't think anything from them in the last couple of years has really kept my interest.
