Hey guys need some help with a bit of a project.
Preferably before Nov the 2nd. I would like to gain 561 additional postings on this glorious website Johan has created and successfully run in spite of us.
So what I need you all to do is band together and figure out some way to get me to post more over the next few days. Ask me questions, make comments for me to respond to whatever. I work this weekend so for the next four nights I will have up to 12 hours each to respond, assuming work is slow. Can be in this thread or any of the others on this site.
Keep me busy please.
And it case anybody is wondering.
I am formulating a special subject for a thread, but symbolicly I want to start it on the next even number in my total thread count, would add a bit to the message.
NO I AM NOT GOING TO TELL YOU NOW!!!
Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks for the help Techrep
My take on it.
Well Alaska traditional has had economies based on resource extraction be it fishing, logging, mining, or currently oil. In the past 40 years the republicans have traditionally been more favorable to the reasonable exploitation of these resources for economic benfit.
The Democrates and the left however do tend to be beholden to enviromental interests. Both Clinton and to a much greater extent Carter in the late 1970's invoked wildland management policies that where decidedly negative to those industries that I mentioned that also employed a majority of the workers in this state.
You make enemies when you take away a persons ablity to feed their family.
Also nationwide you will notice that rural areas tend to be more conservative. Hard to argue that Alaska does not have large tracks of rural areas. I suspect that the fact that survival and success is more hands on in these areas has a lot to do with it. You actually have to plant your seed to get crops so to speak as opposed to going down to the soup kitcken.
Thanks only 560 odd left to go!

Well hi there, I am really curious about what you have to say, but you should also realize the fact that many users here do not like you, especially those with other political views, so after reading this post they may just as well do the opposite
Anyway ! I have some nice suggestions/solutions to your little problem.
Answer to every thread in the "Polls and Prefs forum" (if you have not yet done that) or...
comment on every report in the "Trip reports" forum, people usually appreciate that - it should also take a while and bring you a lot closer to the magical 20k.
Start one of those silly word association threads and post frequently, Singapore_Air used to come up in the 300 post area (but you may not want to sink that low)
You can also start a thread asking all users who think you are a far-right-racist-psycho to sign with a post (that should generate quite a lot of them ) and then you just reply to every one
Act like ScottysAir
Yeah and one more important thing to think of... DO NOT GET BANNED

It isn't a matter of America sucking...although I do note that I vote Alaska Independence Party which is a political party tasked for the sucession of Alaska from the US. But what it is a matter of is people claiming America Sucks to further their poltical ends.
Hey guys, got to go to class now, but keep it comming.
Where below 560 now!!!

Ever been to or near the northern coast of Alaska? If you have, what is it like? I flew over it once and thought it was amazing how barren it was...I wondered what things were like up there ever since.

28 L-188: Not familiar enough with Punters. I know what they do but really don't follow the punters. So I guess we are going to have to list that one as a stump
29 IFLYMCO: What is your favorite place that you have ever visited and why? (Both inside and outside Alaska)
30 Mir: Hmm, seems that I have the same project before Nov. 2nd. I'm trying to get 82 (81 following this one). So I'll be partaking. L-188, what is the best a

32 Mia: Heinrich von Kleist is cool but trying to relate his works to the Spanish Inquisition isnt.
33 L-188: Well IFLYMCO, I really enjoyed Uncle Sam sending me to Germany. I just wish I hadn't been such a coward and explored the country more. I have a Buisne
34 Mir: Wild spirit, eh? I can sort of imagine it, but I guess you can't really get the feeling unless you're there. For me in North Dakota, the best thing is

37 Mdsh00: L-188. How do you deal with the ridiculously perpetual night in the winter (save for an hour or 2 of brief sunlight)? I'd find that maddening. Regardi
38 L-188: Well I have lived in the south so got a bit more sun then that. But a lot of people do come down with SAD or Seasonally Affective Disorder and Vitamin

42 L-188: Nope, haven't had the budget of late. That SVT was very tempting three months ago though. Last time I was in the gun store I could have blown through
43 MD11Engineer: There are quite a few SVTs, both in normal and in sniper configuration for sale over here at the moment. The price is about 1000,- Euro with scope and
44 L-188: Yeah, but getting them imported is a bitch Still one of these days I will have my snow tires for the truck paid for and be able to expand my collectio
45 L-188: OH BTW MD Did you find that PDF file on the Drilling thread, ref the "Rolligans?"
46 MD11Engineer: Considering the age of these rifles, wouldn´t they count as C&Rs? You´d need an import permit from your own government though, to get an export perm
47 AzoresLover: Some Texans I know are still mad that Alaska became a state, thus reducing Texas to being only the second-largest state in the union. Wanna really get
48 JGPH1A: Speaking of the Aleutians, some questions... Do AS still operate those rough-field kitted 737's ? With the gravel deflectors ? Did you have fly on a Y
49 L-188: Yes they would but I haven't looked at the BATF list to confirm....once they get into the country. Getting them into the country would be the problem.
50 JGPH1A: Shame about the YS11 - so are there any other regrets that you have ?
51 L-188: Yeah, a couple. Some of which I don't think I am going to share here.
52 JGPH1A: Oh go on - it's cold today and pi$$ing down with rain, I could use a good laugh understanding and sympathetic soul-baring exercise !
54 JGPH1A: Laugh "at", definitely ! In the Agony Aunt stakes, I'm much closer to Jerry Springer than Oprah
55 L-188: Ok.....in addition to the YS-11, I one time chose to ride a 727 instead of a BAe146....Always regreted that too.
56 JGPH1A: Aaah, I can tell that was a heart-felt revelation ! 146's are very special (the noise the flaps make when they're extending - sounds like the wing is
57 L-188: Yeah but other then that one Airpac was flying up here, there aren't too many in this state.
58 JGPH1A: Airpac - whatever happened to them ? Didn't they use their 146 to fly king crabs out of the Aleutians ? I remember reading about them, and how they wo
59 L-188: I don't think it was a combi, probably just down in the belly. They when under in the 1980's. Actually I am a bit surprised that you have heard of the
