I haven't written you for awhile, since your roller coaster posts. Glad to see you here again.
Here in southeast Ohio winter should be coming...the leaves have all turned, most have now fallen off the trees, it's beginning to be just butt-ugly as usual in winter, all black sticks, no green, etc. However, we have been having WARM weather. Today (Saturday) it'll be the mid-70's, and depending on how much sun we get it could hit 80!! Right now, at 9:20am here, the sun is shining, so we'll probably hit the high range in temps today.
The Florida hurricanes hit us severely here in the Ohio Valley. Severe flooding, I had several friends who lost everything...house, all possessions. It has been very difficult here. We still have a lot of the infrastructure not open...many roads still closed, etc. That was very unusual for it to be so severe here from hurricanes.
Soon it'll be winter full force, though, snow, ice, cold, all the good stuff!! lol
I think you get full-blown winters there, don't you?
By the way, I liked Columbia SC when I spent a week there a while back, but there wasn't really much to do that I could find. I've always wanted to get down to Charleston, but haven't made it yet.
Do you follow college football here? South Carolina/Lou Holtz rock!
Those who want to do something will find a way; those who don't will find an excuse.

Well today is beautiful, sunny, and very windy. A strong cold front came through last night and we had some very strong thunderstorms come through. At one point, the weather station here recorded a wind gust of 90 kts! It was really cool.

It'd be a beautiful Spring day if this weren't Florida.
It's Nice, Warm, Around 80F (dunno what that is in C), no clouds... no more rain (that's only during the summer) occasional days in the 60s (to remind us about the two weeks of winter we might randomly experience sometime between December and February). Autumn and Winter are the two best seasons in South Florida. It's Warm, Dry, Sunny, perfect Beach Weather.
This coming from someone who lives in a city that went into hibernation that day in December of 2001 when it got to 35F (the streets were deserted).
If you really want to do it, you will find a way; if you don't, you'll make excuses.

Today here in Gainesville, Florida, USA its a very bright and sunny 84F (29C). The coldest its been here all "Fall" is about 70 and that was several weeks ago. Since then its been 80 at least, but not as humid as summer.
Come January I'll be in the Netherlands for months on end.....guess I'd better get ready for a BIG change.

I live in Stord, small town population 17 000. Photo is from downtown, but not showing a very busy area. Further up the street on the right are some nightclubs and stuff though. Be more life there at this time of day...
Wow, I passed 5000 posts, and didn't gloat...
