The question speaks for it self. I thought of it because at work, many people report seeing sahdows and ghosts. I too have seen the 'ghost' but I did not make much of it. For all I know, it may just be clouds moving and the shadows changing places.
So, do YOU believe in Ghosts? If yes, the why?

And that recent movie "Gothika" explains perfectly why.
Here we have a "ghost" that is capable of running a car off the road, opening a prison cell door, attacking a woman in a shower, carving up her arm, writing "not alone" on a wall, and throwing Ms. Halle around. But the same ghost is incapable of picking up a phone and dialing 911 and tipping off the FBI to the prison warden and the evil sheriff?

I work in a huge 18th century building. I don't know how you could describe it but I guess its like a mansion, and the staff area is the oldest (and least redeveloped area). Quite often I spend evenings alone there in the dark and walk up and down the staff corridor, in the kitchens and the offices. I know that people have been killed there in the past and its not the most friendly of places, but I've never seen a ghost or anything strange in my whole time there. I work at night alot and the security guard works every night and has done for years, and he hasn't seen anything either.
You could say that the place just isn't haunted, but if you look at it from a rational point of view its obvious that there is nothing in hauntings and ghost sightings. Merely sensationalism and imagination running wild.

I´m pretty sure that ghosts are only in our imagination.
There may be external triggers, but the actual "ghost" is ultimately a process running within our minds, even if it appears to be separate from our own awareness. The brain is absolutely capable of things like that.

I do believe in ghosts, i've seen and felt a few strange things in my time, things which i couldn't explain through logic. Nobody can prove ghosts exist, it's up to the individual, through personal experience to decide what they believe. Life would be quite boring if everything could be explained through science, a bit of speculation and debate doesn't do any harm!

When it comes to ghost photos, they are very easy to make. Just for fun I've made quite a few actually.
This is not the best image, as it for some reason looks very dark, but it was the only I have online.
That guy on the left, rather transparrent, isn't he?
Easy to make: I had two people standing prefectly still and set the shutter for 8 sec. After 4 sec, the guy on the left quickly pulled out of the pic, and for the remaining 4 sec, there is only one person in the shot. Result, a ghost like person on the right.
Oldest trick in the book.
