Okay I'm tired of these people spamming up the forum with this useless anti-Bush, American people don't know what they are doing crap type threads. This is an all purpose thread. Sport, chicks, beer, whatever you want. Except politics.
Mavs beat the Kings last night, and they looked great. I think the Mavs have a great shot at winning the west.
Miami will be great in the east with the addition of Shaq, J. O'Neal will give Shaq some stiff competition, but that's the extent of it.

Thing is, Georgy-boy will be able to fuck around with everyone's lives (not just those of Amurrahcans) for the next four years, and you damn well bet he will use his chance, slugger. You think talking about the election result is useless? Part of the quazillion threads before the elections was useless, now the shit hit the fan, those political threads do actually have a use again.
But nooooo, if we don't suck up to your beloved political idol, all we post are "useless anti-Bush [...] crap type threads". Do you always try to make friends that way?

It's beating a dead horse. Nothing I have read in the past 24hrs is any different from the drivel I read last week.

I almost forgot that basketball season was starting... till I caught a bit of the Lakers game the other night. Unfortunately I don't have I team that I follow anymore. So I do not know who is really up and who is down this season in the NBA.
Maybe we need a definitive NBA pre-season thread. Perhaps an NCAA basketball one as well.

I wasn't terribly impressed with the Lakers last night. Kobe is a one man show, and a decent one at best.
He is no MJ, and will never be as good as MJ. Anyone see Barkely rip on Kobe on PTI the other day?

This thread was good even with Aloges and friends trying to screw it up right until AA asked about Soccer. Good god.
The Mavs do not have a good shot at winning the west, and they will be in the bottom half of the 8 teams that make the playoff's. I love Cuban, and I like the Mav's, but they have no improved their team much. And Boston isn't going to win a damn thing. They still suck, so save uys your rhetoric there wannabe Chowd Nation bandwagoneer......

Who will win the west? There doesn't look like there is any dominant team.

Next world cup is in 2006 indeed. Sigh, such a long wait. Oh well. Thank goodness for Champions League. Should be a good match at Old Trafford tonight.
But if we REALLY want to discuss the most important topic besides the election, shouldn't we link that robot dance video again...?

That was a sarcastic comment, Bird was the best white man ever. McHale was just another lanky white boy.
